A must-visit place in Tallinn. Perfectly preserved ancient gates, the heroes of many photos and panoramas. If you're lucky and there aren't many people, you can take great photos. Must see.

Tallinn is a fabulous and magical city! Viru Square is often romantically called the "gate of time" - the place where modern Tallinn ends and medieval Tallinn begins. Viru Gate, a preserved part of the city fortifications of Reval, the entrance to the medieval city from the east. Two gatehouse towers without arches have been preserved, which are the symbol of the city, its business card. Viru Street starts from them, leading to the Town Hall Square. An atmospheric place!
