My wife and I have been wanting to visit St. Petersburg for a long time, and now on 07/18/25-07/21/2025, thanks to Vitpol, we managed to fulfill one of our dreams and even a little more, since the tour to St. Petersburg also included a visit to the Karelian city of Sortavala. I would like to note right away that the team has gathered what is needed for the trip) Excellent, cheerful, and a friend of the whole bus, Alexey is the organizer, escort, and tour guide in one person. The best team of drivers is a cocktail of experience and youth)) The road from Vitebsk to Sartavala went smoothly and unnoticed. Upon arrival, breakfast was waiting for us at a local cafe. Then we went for a ride on powerful (300 hp) boats along Ladoga with a visit to the Ladoga skerries and a naughty excursion of the stone islands. We found the captain, and he gave us a tour as a professional guide (the boat was called the Hunter). Then we went to St. Petersburg with a visit to the eco-ethnopark. We arrived in St. Petersburg in the evening. We were checked into a great 4* Pulkovo Cosmos hotel. Despite our fatigue, we watched the bridge construction on the Neva River at night, and we were very impressed, we had never seen anything like it. The next morning, after a hearty breakfast, we went on a walking tour of the city. Alexey found, as it seemed to us, the best guide in the city, Elena (you can distinguish her from others by the red umbrella). And Peter completely conquered us, we had never seen more beautiful buildings, fees, bridges in any city before, or rather, we had, but these were isolated buildings, and here every building is a masterpiece. Visiting the Hermitage blew my mind. I could not imagine that it could be so beautiful. And at the end of the tour of St. Petersburg, we were provided with the most powerful speedboats for leisurely walks along the canals of the city and a dashing course along the Gulf of Finland. And tired but satisfied, they went home to Vitebsk.
