A great place to eat. The food is very tasty, the portions are medium, but very satisfying. A very cool idea with spraying, do not be afraid to sit at the tables next to them, you will not be wet, but it cools very pleasantly.
The waiting time is 15-20 minutes, it all depends on the workload. There are a lot of people at lunch, come a little later.
I advise everyone to try salmon steak (a dish on coals) very tasty, I sat and enjoyed it. The egg boat is also fiery!!! Lykhny red semi-sweet wine is excellent!!! But the kebab did not leave a special impression, especially after the fish, but here everyone has their own taste, of course.

I advise everyone!I ate here during my vacation.. The price and quality are excellent. The food is delicious and satisfying. The portions are large, the products are fresh. And most importantly, the taste! I was just thrilled. Both cafes have good cuisine and pleasant friendly staff!

We had a rest in New Athos for the New Year. The cafe was recommended at the hotel. Indeed, we have visited many establishments, but the food tastes best here. We were served most often by Cook, thanks to her we felt warmth, comfort and cordiality. This restaurant is quite a popular place, so sometimes there was a big influx of guests. The restaurant's receptionist always came up, apologized and warned that she would have to wait a bit. It's a small thing, but such attention to customers is very pleasant!!! After reading the reviews, we visited this institution.
Pros: delicious food, interesting interior.
Cons: there is no toilet, a fairly small room and therefore there are always a lot of people, the doors to the street are open and there is no sense in having a toilet, well, the most important minus is the staff. They serve reluctantly, there is hatred for visitors on their faces (perhaps due to fatigue), our order was mixed up (partially) and they did not bring what we asked for, well, finally they overestimated the amount of the bill. I paid with my card (inserted the card into the terminal, dialed the PIN code and took the card). Then the waiter came and said that the payment had not passed and the procedure had to be repeated. I didn't have the phone number that the card is linked to with me, so I couldn't verify the payment. And as a result, I found out at the hotel that I paid the bill twice with a difference of 1 minute.

I must say right away- here is the best price and quality of the product. There are a lot of people in the evening, which indicates a good reputation. As for the waiting time, this is quite natural, considering how many people come there. It is better to wait and have a delicious meal like here than to be served quickly, but with some kind of joint.
Cheesecakes cost 200 rubles, and the serving is 700 rubles! In short, guys, if you are in Abkhazia, we have experimentally established that it is better to go only here. There are no problems during the entire stay there.

This year, a new cafe was opened opposite the first one. The cafe is an open veranda, in a modern style, good furniture is not Abkhazian. Everything is very stylish, beautiful tables and interior. It's stuffy because it's still an open place. The menu is mixed. At lunchtime, there are slight delays in the time of serving dishes. The boat is baked in a wood-burning oven, kebabs are right next to it on the grill. Kharcho, in my opinion, is a little empty in taste, the broth is rich, there is a lot of meat, there was a lack of coriander, spice and garlic. The cheese sauce is excellent, liquid cheddar. Homemade dumplings are quite tasty, homemade. But chacha, which is homemade, just ruined the whole impression, just acetone, I do not advise ordering it. Overall a good place, worth a visit.

We came here on the last day of our vacation and were pleasantly surprised!
Very tasty trout, the best boat that we tried during the whole vacation (and we ate in places of different price segments). Pleasant waiters bring everything when ready, the whole order was ready in 15 minutes, which is very fast for a dish on the grill. Two trout + 1L juice + boat + service came out ~ 2000 rubles - this is an excellent price for such a delicious lunch.

We had a rest in New Athos in June 2024. After visiting various establishments in the city, we chose this cafe for ourselves as the best in terms of price / quality. The food is really delicious and the portions are large. For me, the big minus is that there has never been bread!!! You ask for a piece of bread - they say no, there is only homemade pita bread. There are no questions about pita bread, it is very tasty, hot, straight from the oven with a crispy crust. But what if I don't need a huge pita bread, I want 1 piece of bread! Beef there, according to my feelings, was 20 percent. And they charged us like a beef cradle. We ordered khinkali for the child. They couldn't bring them even after an hour! And the cherry on the cake: juice from tangerines. Which had more than half a pumpkin in it. Aren't you ashamed? Tangerines grow on almost every tree, and you even manage to deceive people on this. The only thing we liked was tandoor pita bread. The stove maker is well done! The girl at the bar should at least change her facial expression a little, otherwise with such a "royal" look, she can only stand at the bar. I hope the owner of the establishment will devote time not to fake reviews, but to real improvement of the service. I know very good establishments in Abkhazia and in new Athos, in particular. We didn't like it. We were there just yesterday. We ordered pork kebab, kebab and sliced vegetables. The kebab was delicious, but the kebab was very disappointing - 50% of the meat was not chewed. During the calculation, we refused to pay the tips that were included in the receipt. The waitress explained to us for a long time that they have a rule in Abkhazia to leave + 10% on top. When asked to show this rule in the law, she said to search the Internet. They don't have any consumer corners. But, excuse me, why would I pay extra on top if they brought us low-quality food? She tried to tell us that we had eaten something, but if we hadn't touched it, then yes, we would have been replaced. And how did we know until we tried it? In Russia, in such a situation, they would have made a discount long ago and brought dessert from above.

But what happened in this institution shocked me, a man who served in the law enforcement agencies in the past (it seemed nothing surprising). I found a small bolt in my window. We're upset!!! I must say right away that we are not picky about food. I just want to eat delicious food, without obvious excesses. It's nothing serious. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was very pleasant
So:
1) They couldn't even eat the beef kebab, they gave it back. Hard and sinewy, couldn't cut with knives!!!
2) Grilled vegetables - only the name comes from them. There are exactly 1 piece in a serving: 1 slice of eggplant burned from two sides (photo attached), 1/3 of red pepper burnt peel, but okay, pepper is baked like that if you keep it for a long time, the skin was removed and there was a normal red pepper inside, 1 champignon, 1 tomato, 1 slice of zucchini.
3) Khachapur meat (the name may be slightly different. Forgotten). 3 pieces of "sausage" were put in the boat. The boat is not bad, but there is a lot of salt in the cheese. It's already an amateur here. Let's omit the moment with salt.
From the good or the normal:
1. Caesar with shrimp. The shrimps are 4 pieces warm and there are a lot of lettuce leaves in the sauce. There was not enough flavor in the sauce. It's delicate but tasteless. Here there was not enough salt and some piquancy!
2. Beef lula - pleasant, without obvious taste of seasonings and herbs
3. Tangerine juice is delicious!
4. Cappuccino is delicious, the cup is small. 100-150ml

Delicious cuisine, friendly staff. We tried local cuisine, khachapuri boat, homemade wine. Everything is very fresh, cooked with a knife. I recommend it for a visit!

Wonderful cafe! I fly to Athos often and the first place I go is to this cafe, khachapuri / boats from the oven are the most delicious here! I am pleased with the warm atmosphere, cozy interior, I thank the magical owner Saida for creating such a warm place. Thank you for the friendly conversations of the wonderful baker Sunar and his friends, as well as to all the beautiful girls, hello!)
