Not lying! Only the name comes from Chinese cuisine. Rice with shrimp - a bucket of dry rice and 3 shrimp. Noodles with beef are something greasy and unpalatable. Borsch is an island soup with cumin. Mashed potatoes are like a paste with margarine.
