We had a rest with my wife at the hotel at the end of November 2024. The weather was not perfect, it rained every day in the afternoon, but there was enough time for the sea and sightseeing trips. The hotel is located right by the ocean. The restaurant is located almost on the beach. The hotel is not new, but it is clean and cozy. All rooms have ocean views. Room cleaning on request. Meals - only breakfast is included. The rest of the time, the restaurant is open for hotel guests and for everyone. The cuisine is diverse, with lots of seafood and national dishes. Very tasty. The restaurant prices are average for Unawatuna. It was the first time for us that every dinner the chef came to our table, told us what the dishes were made of and how they were prepared, and was interested in our impressions. During our vacation, the chef was Irish. We really enjoyed talking to him. The hotel staff managed to create a very comfortable, almost family atmosphere. Special thanks to the managers of Bishwa and Gayan. We definitely recommend the hotel for a relaxing family vacation.

If you are not chasing luhari and you are comfortable enough and have a budget vacation, then you can safely choose this hotel! 1) The staff is great! The manager speaks broken Russian, but you can understand it. 2) the rooms are ordinary, without pretension, but there are condos and quite clean. 3) the food is normal, the cocktails are delicious, the prices are adequate! 4) There are many hotels, restaurants, shops and a small Buddha temple nearby. 5) and most importantly - the beach! Incredibly comfortable, just a stone's throw from the hotel (really 10 steps and you're in the ocean) I was at Radisson Blu in July 2024 and often came to Unawatuna beach, I already plan to return to Wave Beach Resort at the beginning of the new season!

The best hotel!!! Very attentive staff, clean rooms, helped carry suitcases, everyone is very caring. The breakfast is delicious, and the sun beds are free for hotel guests. The sea is clean. On the first day we were fed a delicious curry , I really liked it
