A very beautiful panoramic playground. Stunning views of the city of Amasra and Rabbit Island. There are benches where you can sit down and admire the scenery. A small cafe with Turkish tea and coffee.

This place offers a beautiful view of rabbit Island. You can sit in a cafe and drink Turkish tea, and then continue on to the lighthouse with wonderful views of the sea and coastal cliffs.

It's a very beautiful place. This view opens from the cliff on which the old lighthouse stands. I advise those who will be on Amasra to climb this hill, you will have a magnificent view of the endless expanses of the sea.

The Weeping Tree, which is located on Boztepe Island and is one of the landmarks of Amasra, was a special cypress tree. Unfortunately, the information that the tree was cut down recently has been confirmed. While it is stated that the tree poses a danger as a reason for cutting, some claims raise the possibility of external intervention. Amasra Municipality has informed that a new sapling will be planted in place of the tree. The Weeping Tree got its name from an interesting natural phenomenon. It accumulates the moisture it receives from the sea and air within its body, especially in the spring and autumn months, it gave this moisture back in drops. This caused the tree to look like it was "crying". This feature and its age, estimated to be between 300 and 500 years, made it one of the most remarkable natural beauties of Amasra Dec. The Weeping Tree and Its Surroundings The hill where the tree was located offered one of the most beautiful views of Amasra. In the tea garden located here, it was possible to enjoy tea while enjoying the view of Rabbit Island, the Big Harbor and Kemere Bridge. When evaluated in this context, the silhouette of Atatürk could also be seen on a mountain slope. The Weeping Tree, which is considered a natural monument, also offers an ideal location to observe Amasra panoramically and take photos at the same time. During your visit to Amasra, it is recommended that you enjoy the unique view with a visit to this hill.
