The order was sent 1.5 hours before lunch (at 11:30) via the website. The order was accepted. I received an email notification with the order details. A few minutes later, the operator called and clarified the place of delivery and warned that it would be delivered in an hour (by 12:45-13:00).
At 13:05 we clarify (after a long wait on the line) the order account with the understanding that the weather is not ice and delays are possible. We were informed that the site was not working and the order had to be given through a bot. But we reported that actually the operator called immediately after the order and confirmed it.
We were immediately told that the deliveryman had already left and would arrive soon. 13:30 half an hour before the end of lunch. We call and wait for the operator's response. They said they were checking with the driver.
13:45 - we are waiting for the operator's response. They pick up the phone. We have already requested the number of the deliverer and called. We hear an absurd thing: supposedly it will be in 2 minutes. Upon clarification, it turns out that he has not yet picked up the order and does not know where else he will deliver it, but he will definitely be in 2 minutes.
We call at 13:50 already with the mood to cancel the order, but while we were waiting for an answer, the same deliveryman calls us in parallel and we respond. Then this courier says that the delivery was initially picked up by another courier who was in an accident (we will not check). And offered to deliver the order for free.
They did not specify the details of the accident, but wished the courier the best of health through him and asked him to cancel the order so that they could think about their employee.
BOTTOM LINE: Lunch is over. A pregnant colleague and I, hungry and angry. A bucket of useless lies from WOK and Co.
