A travel agent checked us into this hotel, as he issued us departure tickets a day earlier, and informed us that we had to fly a day later. It feels like a budget hotel, breakfast is just a nightmare... There is no choice... The maintenance staff looked into their mouths, as if they would not eat any more... We sat and chewed without any appetite to starve the worm... The furniture is shabby, it doesn't breathe fresh... I do not recommend it!

A great hotel for your money. The rooms are decent, although the furniture is no longer new. The food for breakfast and dinner is decent, there are not so many dishes, but everything is edible. The breakfast menu is much more varied. You can always find an empty table. The metro is a 1-minute walk from the hotel. Geographically located in the old town, but there are also advantages - affordable shops and a hardware market!

The hotel is old, and "tired" of visitors, small. Food is two cafes. One with Asian cuisine, the second mixed European-Asian. We were in a pandemic, perhaps now the food is more diverse.
From the pros: the metro is a 2-minute walk away, near the "Golden Market", opposite the grocery store and many different small ones, on the roof there are two small pools, one heated. And the cost of living.
From the cons: far from the central attractions (Dubai Marina, Burj Khalifa, etc.) by metro 40-60 minutes. And if you go to Expo 2000 or amusement parks, then about 1.5 hours. In principle, you can go once, but you should not expect anything better from the hotel than the average 3 stars.
