I do not recommend this transport company to anyone. A friend from Germany sent me a package (children's clothes and a bottle of wine) and before handing over the package, he asked: can they charge an additional amount from the recipient for alcohol? They replied that they did not. After that, the package was in their warehouse for a month (they couldn't get an exact answer why it was in their warehouse for a month), then it was sent. As a result, I received the parcel after 2 months. They called me and told me that I needed to go to our office, get the paperwork and then go to customs, pay the alcohol tax (they said that the new law had come into force, and now I needed to pay the tax for a bottle of wine). All the blame was shifted to the Armenian customs. It will cost several times more to refuse the parcel than for taxes and other things. The customs office said that this law has always been in place, and the transport company certainly knew about it. I paid about 6600 drams for a bottle of wine (they accept cash), then they gave me the address of the warehouse where I was supposed to pick up the parcel - but they told me to specify which warehouse, I need to check with the transport company. I called the office of Yan Logistics, they told me that it would be possible to pick up the parcel from their office (107 Movses Khorenatsi Street, 1st Lane (floor 1)). When I got to their office, they told me that I still had to pay another 2000 AMD for delivery from the warehouse to their office (there was no word on the phone about paying 2000 AMD). When asked why they didn't say that they needed to pay 2000 drams earlier, they didn't answer anything (they only said that at the customs warehouse, I would have paid 3200 drams - thank you for saving my 1200 drams). In the end, I can say that due to the negligence of this transport company, I spent a lot of time and money (about 13,500 drams and about 4-5 hours of my time). All I had to say was that regardless of the amount of alcohol, the recipient must pay the tax. There are no words.
