I am extremely surprised by the previous negative reviews. I have something to compare it with and the tour is very worthy. Ermine the tour guide (I hope I remembered the name correctly)- extremely interested, answering all questions in detail and with correct speech. This is already leaving aside the aesthetic side, which is just beautiful) Amazing territory, green, well maintained.The old Volga (I wish I could hide them from the sun and fix them).There are many interesting exhibits, such as albums with labels from port wine or three bottles of cognac that have been to Ararat. There are three tastings - for 5,000, 10,000 and 15,000.Everyone is good, although I'm not a fan of cognac.But madeira is beautiful. I advise everyone.

We were on an excursion on 12.09 at 17:00, Perhaps the most terrible of all that we managed to visit in my entire adult life) The guide "ran around" the museum from 40 in 15 minutes! by the visitors, I was trying to tell them something vaguely. It looked like this-here's a cannon, here's a ladder, and this is an office, this is a barrel...A nightmare, that's all. She could not answer any of the questions asked by tourists. At the end of the tasting, we were treated from dirty glasses 🤯 Gloom! We read the reviews before we went. And there were reviews that carried a negative connotation. But alas, everything turned out to be a reality. It's easier to read information on the Internet.

The Noy Brandy Factory is the oldest factory in Yerevan, it was restored in 2004 after the collapse of the Soviet Union, while the Ararat factory was bought by the French and still belongs to France. Ararat was built on the site of Noah's warehouses in the 20th century. The tour is interesting, there are several types depending on the tasting, there are prices in the photo and what is included. The beginning of Russian-language excursions is at 11, 14 and 16 o'clock, it is advisable to make a phone call and make an appointment. You will be shown several floors of basements where century-old barrels have been preserved, and even underground galleries, will tell the story of creation and will show objects and things of those times. Depending on the purchased tour, you will be offered drinks with a small amount of fruit and a small chocolate bar. In total, the tour lasts about 1 hour, with 15 minutes for tasting. I recommend watching and trying it out

If you want to take a tour where you would be told about the history of the factory, about the features and stages of cognac production, then you definitely are not here. Apart from the phrases "look here, this corner is dedicated to this, and this corner to that", "look, these are barrels", "look, this photo is on the wall", the guide did not tell us anything else. Indeed, why do we need to know this, we need to run to taste it faster. And those who have a ticket without tasting, you can stand at the entrance and wait. I had to catch a girl on the premises and ask her to escort us to the exit. The only thing worth looking at is the cellar and the tunnel. And they won't tell you anything about these places. Definitely not recommended. Better go to Ararat - there you will really learn about the production of cognac. But, unfortunately, you won't see the cellar.

Awful. We visited in 2014, and it was so interesting that I wanted to repeat it. And there are no words to describe what we got. It's a disgusting experience, and I don't recommend spending money on an uninformative tour. It's stupid, there's no interest from the girl guide, we didn't get any information, I could have Googled it myself. Maybe it's true- the Zoomers got here too? We didn't come on a tasting tour, we were interested in the history of the plant, but it looked something like this: "look at this photo, this is Shustov, let's move on."

The museum part and the hat tour. The guide simply dictates a boring memorized text without answering any questions properly, and everything is in a hurry. The tasting is pleasant, although not great. Especially delicious fortified wine. But the basements are amazing! It is very entourage and atmospheric. You need to take an excursion for 5k. For 15k there is no point - I will pour you a slightly more aged wine, and a slightly more aged cognac.

It's an amazing place! I definitely recommend an excursion with a tasting of fortified vintage wine. It's great!!! A good tour and a good museum exhibit. It was very interesting to learn the history of this plant. A stunning historical place, the territory of the former citadel. And the opportunity to visit the cellars is simply amazing! It was as if they had plunged into another era. Emotions cannot be expressed in words! Thanks to the guide Lela. A very nice girl, answered all the questions. I had a great tasting. She was attentive to the visitors. I really liked everything!

There are packages with and without tasting (without tasting, people just wait for the rest to taste the drinks), they made an appointment in advance by phone. The tour is interesting, although the guide herself spoke little Russian. During the tour, you go down to the ancient cellars and immerse yourself in history. If we compare it with a visit to the Ararat factory, then, of course, it is more interesting here from the point of view of history. It is better to visit both factories and learn all about Armenian cognac.

Darkness. I do not recommend visiting. For this 10,000 AMD money, it's better to buy yourself a piece of basturma and cognac in the store. The tour is about nothing, the guide himself is VERY reluctant to answer questions, can't really tell anything, and takes more care that her intern remembers the text of the tour. The tasting itself - you are given 15 minutes for everything, there is really no story about the cognac itself, or any related information - and all because different tasting packages for different prices are combined and put at one table, and the guide runs away because she already has a new tour (maybe she needs to work on the timing?) Only 1 plate of fruits (half an apple, orange and grapefruit) and one tiny chocolate bar were served at the tasting in parallel. In the end, there is only one conclusion - do not waste your time and money, enjoy the cognac elsewhere.

A wonderful girl was telling the tour in Russian. I really liked it, they showed the catacombs, it's terribly fascinating! The tasting takes 15 minutes. Inkerman and Massandra are about the same, many in the reviews complain that everything is wrong. I was at the Crimean wineries, +\- a similar story as here. It's interesting, a little tasting, a shop :)

We went to a tasting with friends, took a package for 15 thousand drams, the whole tasting lasted 15 minutes. 2 types of alcohol were tasted in the basement and 2 types of cognac were already in the hall where everyone was sitting at the tables. Absolutely nothing was told about cognac, except about its age, and then there is no certainty that we really drank 20-year-old cognac, and not some other because after entering the hall everything was already poured into glasses. After everyone was seated, the guide told where some cognac was located (no names, just age) and after 3 minutes said, "Okay, I have the next group now, the guards will guide you where to go." There was also nothing particularly interesting on the tour itself before the tasting, we walked through the halls and looked at photos, no information was told about exactly how the manufacturing process takes place, they showed in which barrels it is stored and that's it. We have already visited various wineries and factories before, so there is something to compare it with. This tour was as strange as possible and not very interesting, I would not even recommend it for a visit

A very interesting and informative tour. On the same day we went to ARARAT and realized that there was no need to go to Ararat. There were a lot of people in Ararat and they showed me one room and it doesn't relate to the factory in any way, there's just a little story in the room. In NOAH, we were shown a lot more rooms, given a taste of port wine, and at the end of the tasting there was not only alcohol and water with chocolate, but also fruit. In NOAH, we were able to talk with the guide and learned about everything.

But the tasting is at the very end, after a wonderful museum on the second floor, a walk through the beautiful territory and a visit to the cellars with huge barrels in which drinks are infused. The tasting tour looked unconvincing - the guide rattled off the memorized text and no emotions could be traced. The basements are really impressive, but everything is overshadowed by the attitude of the plant's employees: step aside - three women are already shouting at you, you did not have time to finish 30 grams of old wine with the group, the same strict caretakers of the basements are already driving on, while you cannot even put an unfinished glass - they shout that it is expensive ((( In the final the gathering is in the tasting room, while visitors without tasting sit on a bench and wait for drinkers. Strange feelings remained from the event - there is no sense of hospitality at all.

We came without an appointment for a tour, we just spontaneously decided to go. Even for two they organized an excursion with a Russian-speaking girl!!!! The cost with tasting is 5000 drams. They give you a taste of very old wine and two types of cognac with different aging, they taught you how much to pour into a glass, how to determine the aging in years. The tour is so-so. The museum part was also not impressed. I really didn't like that all the groups were mixed: those who just listen, and with a tasting for 5000 and with a tasting for 15,000. But there are very, very steep basements, where huge wine barrels are located and there is a plot with an underground passage somewhere in the city center.

Unfortunately, the time was wasted, the guide shows the history of the enterprise in fragments in paintings and photos, there is no single picture in the story, it was interesting to look at the process and technology of making cognac, and not boring photos, added one point for the barrels. We took a guided tour without tasting, as a result, we waited until the group finished tasting, sadly. Maybe the older generation will be interested in who and when was the director of the plant, but the younger one has nothing to do there.
