The so-called "elite" School is just disgusting! Russian Russian children are treated with contempt, although they went to a Russian class, 5 subjects out of 11 were taught in Armenian, when the child said he did not understand, he was scolded in Armenian. Education is very poor, textbooks are paid. They don't know how to solve children's conflicts, they just smile and that's it. If it wasn't for the circumstances, I would never have gone to this school.

The school was rebuilt and opened in November 2023. There are Russian-speaking classes. The management is categorically against any monetary fees in parent committees. At this time (05/12/2024) there are no cleaners, and parents are periodically forced to do wet cleaning of the classroom. The teacher also maintains cleanliness. The quality of the furniture leaves much to be desired. During the quarantine (7 people fell ill with chickenpox), there were no technical facilities for remote classes in the picture - no Internet, no laptop, the broadcast was organized by themselves and the teacher - it was terribly inconvenient. The teachers are good, at least we came across some. The most poorly taught subject in elementary schools is drawing and technology. There are very few handicrafts by technology, and they are kindergarten-level. The same situation applies to drawing. They often have a free theme that they can draw on, and these are often favorite characters from cartoons and games... they don't draw with paints, only with pencils and markers. They are afraid to dirty the furniture, floor, walls, although they could organize a separate art class for this, which would be equipped for this (there is nothing supernatural in this). This is very bad for development. We are a homeschooled school in the Russian Federation, and for a Russian school we have to draw normal drawings separately at home, since they will not pass the test at the end of the year for these - they are too weak. And there are almost no themes. Drawing promotes mental development. I am glad that there is a compulsory chess lesson. Computer science has been introduced since the 3rd grade, and classes are held both in a regular textbook (Armenian) classroom and in a computer classroom (sometimes periodically). The kids like it. The canteen has not yet been launched, IT was PROMISED by the beginning of the new academic year 2025-2026. But it's not clear yet. Armenian is taught entirely in the Armenian language. A child can read and write, but he doesn't understand anything... just some words. The gym is large and spacious, equipped. Below is another review, everything is as it is. I've completed it. In general, there is something to work on.

My daughter studied for a year in the 1st grade. Among the advantages, I can mention a modern beautiful building (opened in November 2023), clean toilets, there is a gym, a playground on the street, a cozy courtyard. The school has Russian and Armenian classes. Almost all textbooks were provided by the school. The administration is against fees in parent committees, sometimes to the point of absurdity. During the year, the class held events for the New Year, Carnival, the holiday of the primer, there were 2 trips to the theater (one is free). There are no changing rooms, only hooks for jackets in classrooms, there are no requirements for changing shoes either. At school, the uniform is black bottom, white top. Some classes have vests with the school logo, but this is not necessary. Meals are not (yet) organized, but there is a dining room. The school has paid sections (I've heard good reviews about karate). Officially, there are no grades in the beginning, but I regularly saw something from 8 to 10 in notebooks. According to the program, Russian in Goretsky, the writing was so-so, the letter combinations were worked out very little. Math by Moreau, the child liked it, the program was limited to addition and subtraction within 20. My biggest pain is reading, drawing and technology. During the year, the children never painted with paints, did not sculpt from plasticine, did not bring any crafts, and after reading for six months they simply copied texts from a textbook (at a rate of copying up to 20 words, we spun several pages until the hand fell off and the butt was numb). Perhaps we were unlucky with the teacher, and the situation is different in other classes. There is no English and the outside world in the 1st grade. Armenian is taught in a very specific way. There is no methodology for teaching a language as a foreign language, they study according to a primer, as for Armenian children. They learned capital letters right away. As a result, the child knows the letters, can write and read, but does not understand a word. There was a lot of homework, sometimes it took more than 1.5 hours. There are a lot of parent-teacher meetings, rather pointless, with a public discussion of other children and a minimum of information on the case. Russian Russian I can't help but note that the director does not speak Russian in principle, even with children and parents of the 1st Russian class, where she (so far) is not understood. The children's exit from school is very poorly organized, they are simply released without looking at whether the parent has come. As a result, one child was lost, they searched with the police for several hours, found everything, but this issue requires greater vigilance. I tried to describe the situation at school as much as possible to the point and without emotion (and gray hair has increased this year), I wish her development and prosperity, but I chose another place of study for my child, with a more individual, humane approach.
