Then the garden was sold, ruined, restored... and now we can all see it - amazing in its beauty, harmony and tranquility. You can just walk around the garden without guides and guidebooks. But the guide will show you interesting things - for example, a stone ball in the mouth of a lion -) Among the practical points, I would like to mention the following. There are very small queues at the ticket office, even on public holidays, meaning there shouldn't be any problems buying tickets. But most just buy them via Alipay or WeChat Pay. It is better, of course, to come to the garden when there are few people there; when there are many, it is difficult to walk (in a crowd) and it is more difficult to enjoy the silence. In my opinion, a must-visit place in Shanghai that allows you to learn about the history and take a break from the noise of the city.
