The Yuhai International Hotel (J hotel) consists of 4 buildings. We visited this hotel in October 2025, the location of the hotel is line 2 to the sea 5-7 minutes on foot, the hotel is located in Sanya Bay, near the bus stop to the center, bus 108 goes to the center of Sanya and Dudonghai Bay, costs 3 yuan. The hotel is old, once it was expensive and rich 4-5*, now the fountains and waterfalls are not working, there are terminal springs, there are 5 working baths, charcot shower and massage (as in the advertisement) - no, the visiting schedule is from 15 to 22.00, 2 pools, beautiful territory, fish ponds, many tropical plants. Breakfast starts from 7 to 10, the standard Chinese breakfast is porridge, pasta, rice, vegetables, rolls, eggs, bacon, watermelons have always been from fruits, you will not stay hungry, but there is not much choice. The rooms are clean, snow-white towels, bed linen has not been changed for 14 days of stay, the mattress and pillows are comfortable, a large balcony, some of the rooms are apartments of the local population, when they cook the room is saturated with the smell of food. There is no clothes dryer, the swing on the balcony serves as a dryer, I really missed the table and chairs on the balcony. There are many cafes and shops nearby. There are midges on the beach and in the hotel, they are dangerous only to those who are allergic, they bite everyone and only a few have a reaction.

The photos on the site were taken before the pandemic..in May 2025, the picture is much sadder: the rooms are tired, as well as the furniture, we lived on the 12th floor in a deluxe room, it is spacious and has a balcony with swings and sea views. The breakfasts are meager, and you can clean and sort the dishes yourself. There is ONE swimming pool on site. The SPA area is closed!!

Breakfast at the hotel, buffet, but mostly Chinese, but our tourist will not stay cold). The pool is open from 10:00 to 22:00. There are thermal pools, open from 16:00 to 22:00.

We spent 12 days in hotels with my wife. There are early check-in and late check-out. The hotel is old, but the rooms are freshly renovated. There is an air conditioner that barely worked for us, and it howled constantly, like in a hurricane.A TV that only shows Chinese cable. There is a kettle, an extractor hood, that is, you can cook in the room. A balcony with a swing overlooking the courtyard. The hotel itself consists of 4 buildings with a height of 12 floors. In the courtyard there are tropical trees, artificial ponds with koi carp, a large swimming pool, open from 10 to 22.. There are thermal baths, but we did not go there.The breakfasts are monotonous, but there is a choice of 15 dishes. There are only watermelons for dessert. The check-in was very quick - we were given passports, we were given a key and we went to the room. After that, the passport was taken away. The overall impression of the hotels is not bad.

++ few Russian-speaking tourists (respectively, deep immersion in hieroglyphs, Chinese habits, etc.), good breakfasts (a buffet of Chinese dishes, you can come with boxes and get yourself lunch), proximity to the sea, bus stops, shops and authentic cafes, garden view with partial sea views. -- a transparent wall in the toilet (from my humble experience, this is practiced in Chinese hotels), there is no dryer (take your rope or mobile dryer), there is no washing machine (bought a basin and powder), there is no refrigerator (everything that is bought - fruits, ice cream, beer - is subject to immediate absorption), washing the floor is symbolic (give me a mop and I'll wash properly). Overall, I liked the hotel. It's not fancy, it's not a luxury class, it's an old man's hotel, but I was completely satisfied with that, because I was going not to stay in the hotel, but to walk outside it. However, when I was in the hotel, I felt comfortable. I have a Wi-fi, my vpn worked better in the morning, in the evening it was difficult to upload at least something "forbidden" (even messages in tg). I haven't turned on the TV even once, it looks like OK. I had to make friends with Conder by first translating the remote control from Chinese. There were no insects or other animals, a couple of mosquitoes flew in, but they probably wouldn't have reached higher than my fifth floor. During my stay, repairs were carried out there, but again, from 9 a.m. I was already walking somewhere, and not listening to the trills of the drill in the hotel. There is a pool there, but who needs it when there is a warm sea nearby? In general, I don't see any point in overpaying for the dust in my eyes and the glitter of the gorgeous chandeliers if I'm short-sighted anyway, so this hotel turned out to be a good choice for me.

Location: the most convenient location, the sea is a 3-minute walk away, bus stop. There are small shops and cafes...If you want shopping malls, markets, traffic, then you need to go (taxi/bus) Guide : unfortunately I was unlucky with him (photo attached)Yasha was not in touch 24/7, he came if he needed or "profitable " to come. He changed money at the highest rates, tried to sell everything more expensive, said that on the island you can only travel by taxi (through your phone app), although everything goes and, moreover, trips are often cheaper. Once some tourists were looking for rose petals, I found a store where you can buy cheaper than on excursions, Yasha was very offended at me saying that he would sell them more expensive)))He finds out who lives alone in the room, goes to eat for free and leaves))) It's better not to mess with him Excursions: go on your own, there are many offers on the island For all excursions you can take a bus and see.There is a paid entrance in some of them and that's it, it will still be cheaper at times.It is very expensive with guides.They have from 490, and in other places 220 yuan. Treatment: I'll say this, if you want to keep the money and calm yourself down, go ahead.Acupuncture, acupuncture, massage are the most common procedures here.It's like putting cans at home: it seems easier, but there is no harm either...So it is here . We bought products in hyperkets .There is a lot of variety in the cafe, where it is more expensive, where it was cheaper, where there are more Chinese))).For tourists, as everywhere else, it is more expensive than for locals. The hotel is for those who want the sea nearby and that's it.I would have come again....there are alternatives and more interesting, cheaper. P.S. change money in Russia, do not listen to anyone, the exchange is more expensive on the island - you lose a lot of money.
