We visited this institution on July 23, 2025. The first impression is that the surroundings at the bar are pleasant, with a hint of antiquity, on the shelves there are various attributes such as coal irons, wooden rubles, products from vines and straws, the interior is in the same vein: wood in the decoration, imitation of rough white plaster on the walls and vaulted ceiling, in the entrance area there are a couple of tables with chairs that look like classic Viennese ones. The main hall, located behind a trapezoidal wooden door with a metal deadbolt handle, has even more hints of the Middle Ages: tables with benches, stone in the wall cladding, granite tiles with a pattern of paving stones on the floor. However, when ordering the dishes, the most interesting thing began: - Three servings of draniki, please. - There are no draniki, the potatoes in the kitchen are out. The further dialogue came down to the understanding that the entire side dish on the menu is tied to potatoes, which, as we have already found out, is not present in the kitchen as such. Strangely enough, as I understand it, the person in charge of cooking in this establishment does not expect that there may be more than ten guests. And the time is 12:50, and before midnight, that is, before closing, there is still a lot of time, and the potatoes are over ... Frankly, I don't understand this approach. We ordered three cappuccinos, and here we also need to understand that the coffee machine in the Castle is not very efficient, while the third cup was prepared, the first one had already cooled down. Plus, there are no sweet pastries in the cafe at all, the only thing they could offer us was white bread. It's a normal move, right? Coffee and whites!!! Well, there's a grocery store nearby, my wife ran away, even though she bought cookies, otherwise she would have had to slurp cappuccino. In general, two points! Absolutely!

They keep the brand! Four years have passed since my previous visit to Golshany. We were satisfied with the service then, and everything is fine this time. The main problem for tourists in agro-towns is the sign "Closed for special maintenance." This means: a wedding, anniversary, wake, etc. Here, one thing does not interfere with the other. Tables were set up in the great hall for the birthday boy, but strangers were not kicked out either - there is a smaller hall. The kitchen is of high quality. We also made coffee, but there is no baking. It's good that my wife has cookies in her bag. I tried to connect to WiFi, but it didn't work. They said it was useless. But if the network and password are specified, it should work. Or you should remove the sign. But this is the only negative.
