A place with magnificent views both towards the sea and towards the capital of northern Cyprus, Lefkosh. If you have already managed to get binoculars, you will be able to see two skyscrapers from the Greek side, Ercan airport, and other charming views from the Buffavento Castle. You can drive by car to a height of 726m, then on foot. According to my watch, the start took place from a height of 726m, the finish was at an altitude of 966m. The height difference was 240m. The ascent at a calm pace with rest and contemplation of all the beautiful things takes about an hour. The descent takes about 20 minutes. The road is cultivated - the steps and paths are paved with stone, so it will not be difficult to climb even for an unprepared person, the main thing is to choose the right pace. The temperature at the top in November on a sunny day is about 18 degrees. Also, do not be afraid of the brick sign when you go from the castle - if you need to go towards Lefkoshi, you can safely go there - there is a little rocky road at the end of the route, but you will cut off decently, and you will come to the settlement of Tashkent, in which the stones on the mountainside are painted in the colors of the flag.

The location is very beautiful. But unfortunately, we were unlucky when we arrived, it had just been closed early due to the military (there is a military unit nearby and the lock is closed in case of exercises). But there was still a beautiful road and views from there.
