I strongly do not recommend it. An experience you wouldn't wish on even an enemy.
I came to the master with the intention of giving one Japanese pruner to be tested to assess the quality of the work, and then to give the rest for sharpening. However, in the beginning, the master quickly convinced me of his professionalism, as he was assertive and as convincing as possible. And after that, I strongly asked, no, even demanded to put on the table all the tools that were with me for sharpening. As a result, I left him 4 professional Japanese pruning shears and one bonsai scissors.
After "sharpening" the tool completely lost its working properties. Pruning shears began to tear the wood, leaving rough, traumatic cuts. The entire factory geometry of the corners was destroyed. At the same time, the master himself stated that he knows better how it should be, and sees no point in restoring the original sharpening, despite the obvious inactivity of the tool. Moreover, he seriously claimed that my Japanese bonsai scissors were actually skin scissors. No comments here.
On my part, it was proposed to re—sharpen the tool with the restoration of the corners. In response, I received a refusal and a phrase in the spirit of: "ready to go to court." I would like to note that I spent time, money and effort coming from another city (Mogilev — Minsk) to resolve the issue. Instead of a solution, he received rejection, arrogance and a complete lack of understanding of his responsibility for the ruined work.
As a result, the instrument was sealed and preserved as evidence of the provision of substandard services. An entry in the book of comments and suggestions has been made, a photo and a description of the situation are attached. By the way, the master does not issue any checks or documents, which in itself may be of interest to the tax authorities.
In my opinion, the master is engaged in profanity, hiding behind terminology, not understanding either the purpose or the design features of a professional Japanese instrument.
If you value your equipment, time, and nerves, avoid this place. I've been through this— I don't recommend it.

A great place to sharpen nail scissors and forceps! It is clear that the man is passionate about his business: he gave recommendations to me and two people in line before me, did the job quickly, the tool is as good as new both visually and in operation.🔥

To say that the best master is nothing to say! I sharpened the shovel so that the earth turns over on its own! And he also sharpened a specific zepter knife just perfectly! I am completely satisfied with my work! I'll bring you another axe and the years that are still there! Keep it up
