The real school (secondary educational institution) appeared in Rogachev in 1907. It was built with the money of local patrons of the Iolshins, in particular, funds were allocated by the widow of state Councilor Varvara Iolshin. A two-storey stone building in the neoclassical style was built for the school. The house church was located on the second floor. Earlier than in other buildings of Rogachev, a steam heating system appeared here, and water was distilled into the premises from a well using electricity. At the beginning of the Great Patriotic War, the building was burned down, but it was restored in the 1950s. Today, a secondary school operates in the building, which is one of the few pre-revolutionary buildings in Rogachev.
