Antibes is probably the most accessible place. I would not advise you to relax - it is far to the sea without your car (15 minutes by car), near the highway. The rooms are small, in principle, like all economy class hotels in France. Not a particularly successful system - several buildings with rather inconvenient stairs. You can stay for a couple of nights. There are no questions to the staff even once - they helped, they gave an extra hour to check out.
