We visited this wonderful place with friends, following the way from Minsk to Gomel and fell in love with it! We were charmed by this wonderful house, where people work, with joy and awe, treating their visitors and their work. We took a tour guide and joined the group, which was recruited by a guide, for 4 rubles per person, which they later said was the most correct decision. Maxim, the tour guide, took us through the palace as a kind host to his dear guests! He showed the best, showed the most interesting things! Once again, thank you, Maxim, for your love of the profession and people!!
The halls are small, but very interesting, filled with exhibits extracted from collections from all over the world for exchange between museums and auctions. The house carries the story of its family, a family where the house, located in a deep province, was the center of the world.
The museum has been undergoing restoration work for 14 years. Work is currently continuing, the territory is being improved, and there are still rooms of the house that are closed for viewing. Therefore, we will definitely return and once again enjoy our stay in the Zhilichi historical complex.

A very interesting and beautiful manor museum. The 2nd ("Front") floor has been completely renovated. Amazing ceilings. Great tour, I recommend you to take it. Restoration continues - in the fall of 2025, the park and 3 floors of the tower with an observation deck are expected to open. There will be a big celebration in September.
As a drop of tar. The saleswoman at the cafe was offended by the question of whether coffee is a grain. That's probably why she kicked us out of there 10 minutes before closing time. However, very intelligently, coldly apologizing. We finished our coffee on the porch.
It did not affect the assessment of the Estate in any way :)))

The impressions are the most pleasant. As a seasoned traveler, I expected a certain level, but what I saw was truly and extremely pleasantly surprised! Luxury. Eyes were running in all directions from the abundance of exhibits. And the staff is just the best! Pleasant, smiling, and at the same time inconspicuous. I highly recommend it! Even the large-scale reconstruction did not affect the impression in any way. 6 out of 5!!!

An interesting place with a pleasant atmosphere and a rich history. It is not inferior in scale to Mirsky or Nesvizh castles. I would like to single out Igor's guide separately, he did not conduct a trivial tour. We will definitely come back when the reconstruction of the surrounding area is completed.

It's definitely worth going, I recommend taking an excursion (they take place often, as soon as the group is assembled, but it's not necessary)
We went without a tour, but unlike other museums, we were not followed, on the contrary, the staff opened different rooms for us and made sure that no one interfered with us. For people like us, there are signs that say the most important information.
The territory and park are still under restoration .

The place is great, you can walk around the halls by yourself or with a guide, but if you study on your own, everything is clear everywhere there are inscriptions On the ground floor in a small cafe you can have a snack with eclairs from the USSR
By autumn, they promise to open a park area with ponds , now there is a reconstruction.

A beautiful palace, an interesting history of its owners. Very pleasant service. A guided tour is held at the beginning of each hour. The museum staff suggests that those who wish to wait for the start of the tour in a cozy hall, you can go to the toilet after the trip. The tour lasts an hour, we watched and listened with pleasure. The impressions of the museum and its staff are the most pleasant.

A good local museum. There are not enough rooms available for viewing, in addition, all those waiting were herded before the excursion to the exhibition: obviously, it was necessary to sell the paintings. The paintings, by the way, were nothing.
The interiors are gorgeous, Volochkova would envy such a Baroque. It seemed that a little more and all the walls would have been daubed with gold. A typical expensive bohato of the 90s, only built much earlier. There are beautiful interiors, there are not so many.
Unexpectedly, little was told about the Bulgakov's activities, but I myself did not find anything more detailed about this on the Internet than in the guide's lecture.
The rooms themselves are small and stuffy inside: if you feel unwell in dark rooms, perhaps the mustiness of the old palace will play a bad joke on you: I recommend taking a bottle of drinking water with you.
The buffet is like moving to the USSR. It's atmospheric, but in general you can take coffee / tea.

A very gorgeous palace that survived during the Great Patriotic War. Thanks to Operation Bagration, the Germans left in a hurry and did not have time to mine the building. Therefore, the building and ceilings have retained 85% of the original, and this is the 19th century. The guide Larisa Viktorovna perfectly conveyed the history of this notable place. I advise you to visit. The restoration of the park area will be completed soon and new floors will be opened to the public.

The guide had a good tour!
But:
The park is just about nothing! Fallen trees, untidy shrubs, the entrance is completely out of order.
We arrived in a small organized group, but we were not given a separate guide!! We waited 6-7 minutes for a crowd of people to gather. It's also better to go and see the palace! It was stuffy in the halls with so many people, the outdoor air conditioner does not save this situation!!

The guide interestingly, emotionally, and sometimes humorously told the story of the Bulgakov family, their traditions, and the history of the palace. Ceilings deserve special attention in the manor, they are different in each room, you want to consider them. The price of an entrance ticket for an adult is 10 b. r. I want to photograph everything. The CEILINGS in the halls are a complete delight! The park is magnificent, but not well maintained. One of the disadvantages is to get there, it's still a quest. A beautifully restored manor house (but not yet completely), I would even say a palace. Chic interiors, private collections of fine furniture.
You can explore the estate only as part of a group, with a guide, I think, so as not to damage the collections, everything is under supervision.
We arrived spontaneously, excursions on a weekday go every hour and at 15.00 there were about 25 people who came here. That is, there are a lot of people who want to look at this beauty in the residential area.
Later, perhaps a year later, a beautiful greenhouse and a chapel will be opened in the manor. There will be a reason to come back here with pleasure.
There is not much place to walk around the estate, the park is not equipped yet. But in the manor you can look at the interiors for a long time and the photos are gorgeous.
I highly recommend visiting this place, I was impressed.
