The zoo makes a depressing impression with its cruelty. Yes, it's free, but that doesn't justify the appalling conditions the animals are in. The cages are overflowing with waste, and the animals themselves look dirty, exhausted, and most likely sick. Some look at them with an empty, doomed look, as if they were innocently sentenced to life in solitary confinement. Others huddle in cramped, crowded enclosures where there is neither space nor peace. Signs with calls to "feed animals with your smiles" seem like an outright mockery against the background of what is happening. Does the city or the country really not have the means to provide more decent animal care? In this form, the zoo should not exist at all. Better no zoo than this. I highly recommend not visiting this place with children or impressionable adults.

It's a small, FREE zoo, so don't expect much from landscaping. Animals are different, from rabbits to monkeys. I liked the aviary with dozens of guinea pigs, I have never seen so many at the same time anywhere else. P.S. Administration, please put a donation box.

My friends and I visited the Batumi Zoo and were satisfied. The territory of the zoo is convenient, especially if you come with children. The zoo is small, but admission is free, which is nice. Although there are not very many animals, it is worth looking at parrots and various monkeys. The zoo is pleasant, and the animals look well-groomed, which adds to the positive impressions. Especially the children were attracted by the cages with rabbits, which, according to the description, can even be purchased.
