It was not possible for me to solve these issues myself, since the cat does not allow direct contact for more than 10-15 seconds. We were enrolled in an "Express molting complex for cats over 5kg" with specialist Anna Nazarova. Honestly, I didn't believe it was possible until the last moment. And I even remember, when I gave the cat away, I asked: "Just don't hit him, please." To which Anna just grinned and took the carrier. And he screamed and cried like a lost man all the way, tearing my soul apart, and then he fell silent with her as if by magic. I also asked to make a couple of videos during the procedures, as I had no idea what it would be like. At the appointed time, I came to pick up the cat. He sat quietly in the carrier, clean, smelly, combed and manicured like a cat. He just looked younger (and he's already 14 years old, just for a minute). I was shown a mountain of combed hair the size of a cat itself, and already at home I appreciated all the rest of the work.
