Account

Some app features are only available if you're logged in to your account (for example, leaving reviews about organizations and attaching photos).

Log in to your account

  1. Tap  → Sign in.
  2. Enter your Yango account username and password. If you don't have an account, register one.

If you've already logged in to your Yango account on this device, Yango Maps automatically authorizes you under your username on its first launch.

If you log in to Yango Maps and Yango Navigator with the same account, your app settings are synchronized across both apps. Any changes you make to your settings in Yango Maps will be automatically reflected in Yango Navigator.

Name change

To change the name that appears in your reviews, comments, and posted road events:

  1. Open Yango ID.
  2. Tap Personal data.
  3. Edit the How can I call you? field.
  4. Tap Save.

Log out of your account

  1. Tap (profile picture).
  2. Tap  (profile picture) with the name → Sign out.
  3. Select Sign out only from this app.
  1. Tap (profile picture).
  2. Tap  (profile picture) with the name → Sign out.

Forget your account

You can forget your account to make it disappear from all Yango apps on this device.

To forget an account:

  1. Tap (profile picture).
  2. Tap  (profile picture) with the name → Sign out.
  3. Select Sign out of all Yango apps on this device.
  1. Tap your profile picture.
  2. In the window that opens, tap and hold the account name.
  3. Tap Forget on this device.

To sign in to your account again, use your username and password.

Delete your account

If you delete your account, the associated data will be lost, and you won't be able to register the same username again.

Your account will be frozen for 30 days, during which you can cancel the deletion. If you cancel the deletion, the data of all services will be restored (with the exception of Yango Mail data).

To delete an account:

  1. Tap (profile picture).
  2. Tap  (profile picture) with the name → Sign out.
  3. Select Permanently delete account.
  1. Tap your profile picture.
  2. In the window that opens, tap and hold the account name.
  3. Tap Permanently delete account and follow the instructions.

Delete personal data

You can delete all your personal information from Yango Maps, including both private and commercial data.

To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open your Yango data.

  2. Under Manage data, select Yango Maps. This opens a list of data types stored by the service.

  3. Select those you want to delete and tap Delete selected. For example:

    • To delete the data from your Yango Maps account, tap Account.

      The data will be deleted only from your Yango Maps account. If you need to, you can delete the data from other services.

    • To delete reports about places marked incorrectly, errors in organization cards, and inaccuracies in transport schedules, tap Problem reports.

      Yango will keep your reports, but you won't be listed as their author.

    • To delete all the photos you've published, tap Photos.

  4. In the window that opens, tap Delete data. If you change your mind, tap Leave unchanged.

The data will be deleted from Yango Maps within 30 calendar days.
