Correct or update information

You can report inaccuracies on the map. Your edit will appear in Yango Maps after it passes moderation. To view information about the status, tap (profile picture) → Edits.

Edit place information

To edit information about a place that is not an organization (for example, a building):

1. Tap and hold the map point.
2. Tap See what's here, then select Edit building info or Incorrect information.
3. Choose what exactly you want to edit: for example Change address or Add business.
4. Enter the information about the inaccuracy and tap Submit.

Edit information about an organization

1. Open the organization card.

2. Tap Edit info or Incorrect information.

3. Select one of the following:

   • Incorrect information to edit the organization's name, location on the map, or other details.
   • Closed or doesn't exist to indicate that the organization is closed temporarily or permanently, has moved, or has never existed.
   • Edit location and entrances.
   • Accessibility to specify whether the organization's building is accessible to people with disabilities.
   • Other to add a comment or photo.

4. Enter the information about the inaccuracy and tap Submit.

Add a place

1. Tap and hold the starting point.
2. Select one of the following Add item to map.
3. Select the item type: for example, Business, Address, Parking, or Other item (if none of the types apply).
4. Fill in the information about the place. Required fields are marked with an asterisk.
5. Tap Submit, and the place will be sent in for moderation. You can check the moderation status in the Edits tab in the mobile browser.

You can also add a place from the search query:

1. Enter your query in the search bar.
2. At the end of the list, select Add an object or address.

You can add your company to Yango Maps. To do this, register it in Yango Business.
