The park is luxurious. A very large area — you can safely spend half a day here for sure. It is possible to take a boat. The fountains are not working yet at the beginning of March, but it's still very beautiful. But if you compare it with your native Petersburg and actually with Peterhof, then there is no longer a feeling that it takes your breath away. But Versailles is beautiful in its own way. The park is free to visit, it is better to buy tickets to the palace online and in advance. I also really liked the gift shop: there is a very large selection of all kinds of beautiful things.

It was autumn when the fountains were already closed. Sorry. Come on Saturday when the fountains are open. A huge park. Paths, statues. Take a very sincere, leisurely walk with a cane, umbrella, or arm in arm with someone. It doesn't matter if it's going to be sunny or rainy. The mood will be wonderful!!

If you come to Paris, be sure to include a visit to Versailles in your itinerary. You can get there by electric train in 40 minutes. And you will plunge into the atmosphere of Louis 14. A stunningly beautiful place where everything breathes history. Versailles is the epitome of luxury and grandeur! Unfortunately, it was not possible to get into the palace itself, but it shook from the outside. The park of the palace, with its perfectly aligned and endless alleys, seems to invite you to the era when Louis 14 and his favorites walked along these alleys. Each fountain in the park is a work of art. And the huge pond seems to reflect the endless sky. You can sit by the pond for hours, admire its surface and indulge in thoughts.
