I put 5 stars, which you understood, Istanbul has a completely different star rating system than Antalya, in general it is an ordinary hotel, but it has huge advantages, it is the center of Taksim and above the third floor you can not hear the noise of Istanbul at night, but you will still hear it, I write above the third, because I lived on the third floor, it's better to ask for windows to the courtyard, there's less noise, the walls in the whole hotel are cardboard, but you can relax, the breakfast is simple but delicious, just a little bit, the reception does not speak Russian, but I agreed on everything in broken Turkish, the room was clean, that's what I forgot to say, they are cleaning It was also great, and in some places it was clear that the room was a little outdated, but it didn't affect us in any way, in general, I would have returned again.

March 21
We stayed in early March, the hotel has a good location relative to transport accessibility: near Taksim Square, where the bus goes from / to airports, metro, funicular. The next street is Istiklal, 1-2 minutes walk away. In the streets where the windows overlook, bars set up tables in the evening, it can be noisy, I recommend taking earplugs. Because it was still cool in March, there weren't many people who wanted to sit outside, and the noise didn't bother us. The hotel has an elevator, in-room kettle, mini fridge, free safe and hairdryer, air conditioning, TV They provide shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, paper napkins, cotton swabs, slippers, tea/coffee. They give 2 towels per person and one shared towel for the bathroom floor. Cleaning is every day, but a little strange: every day our slippers were taken away and new ones were brought (why?), the soap was removed open and a new one was put closed, although I washed my hands only 2 times and there was still a lot of it. We forgot to take out the trash and refill our tea/coffee several times. The rooms are small, but not cramped, a little tired, but it's nice to be there, minor repairs are required: a seam on the glass fence of the shower was leaking, the towel rack was falling off, wires were sticking out of the hair dryer (it was working), the backlight of the bathroom mirror turned on itself when it wanted to, there was no way to turn it on if necessary, it didn't turn on. An inconvenient trash can in the toilet, each time you need to lift the heavy lid with your hand to throw something out. The rooms are heated with air conditioning, which is quite enough in spring. The staff spoke Russian. Breakfast is served on the 1st floor, it was cool there, because there are doors leading to the street from there. The breakfast was normal, there was something to eat. Omelet or scrambled eggs, sausages, several types of cheeses, sausage, vegetables, various salads, a couple of desserts, muesli, cereals, etc . coffee machine, tea, juices that are strongly diluted with water (almost tasteless). We never went hungry. Don't expect any beautiful views from the window, the view is either to the courtyard or to a narrow street, in general, I have good impressions, a good hotel for a budget trip, for people who are used to comfort and don't want to spend a lot.

I don't understand who leaves positive reviews about this hotel. The room is in extremely poor condition: old and shabby furniture, worn-out floors, old stains everywhere. The cleaning was formal and was carried out only on those days when money was left to the cleaner, while the cleaning quality was disgusting. Water, napkins and tea are not replenished. Requests at the reception are ignored, it is impossible to get help. The air conditioner for heating works very poorly, and when asked again to solve the problem, the employee reacted irritably. Sockets are falling out of the wall. Since 9 a.m., there has been a loud cleaning noise outside the door, and it is impossible to rest. This is the worst hotel ever.
