There are only pros and no cons. A mandatory location to view, otherwise you would not be in Astana. We were there late in the evening and couldn't get to the top, but it was already very interesting. Be sure to come in the evening, when you can see all the sights in daylight and at dusk.

The Bayterek Observation Tower is beautiful, a must-visit for one time, but you have to come in the afternoon! But then you realize that the price of 2000 tenge per adult is stupidly to take the elevator at a height of about 10 storey building. A beautiful landmark, 105 meters high, plus an observation deck. Externally it looks very impressive. What are four stars for? I went up to the observation deck in the evening (ticket 2k tg), external lighting and internal lighting almost completely illuminate the view and it is impossible to see the evening city normally - as a result, you look through the glass, but you see yourself and visitors. The conclusion is that it is better to go to the examination room in the daytime.

When I arrived at Bayterek, there was almost no queue. There is a souvenir kiosk in the lobby. But my goal was to visit the observation deck. The observation deck itself consists of three tiers. It is better to enjoy the views from the second tier. And at the very top there is a pedestal with an imprint of Nazarbayev's right hand. There is a queue to put your hand on the president's hand. This is a symbolic handshake.
