It is an interesting place, but guides need to be given more information and tell not only about the cottage building, but also about the territory. It is clear that everything was classified then, but still..

I gave 3 stars for the maintenance of the buildings themselves. And so the place is very beautiful. Take a walk and get some fresh air

A beautiful place is what distinguishes Stalin's dachas. It's almost the same inside, but the places are very beautiful. This place is also famous for the fact that Gorbachev's dacha is nearby, which he did not have time to visit, but there are excursions there.

The story is interesting. Everything needs repair and restoration, but it has its own charm. Time stopped and everything froze.

An abandoned, unkempt place. If restored, the interest in it will increase.

It's just mesmerizing and evokes emotions! We were without a guide and guided tours made our way through the back entrance and felt like an outlaw! We talked in whispers

An interesting resort place, lost in the foothills of Abkhazia, in a secluded corner called Mussera. It had no true published history, and was overgrown with myths, legends and tales of local guides. I got detailed reliable information with links to archival sources from the documentary books of Andrei Evgenyevich Artamonov. They are publicly available on the Internet and on the author's website. The former recreation center of the Central Executive Committee of the USSR "Musser" or state cottage number 27. Was built not only for the recovery of the leader of all times and peoples I.V. Stalin, but also for medical and preventive measures of his associates who arrived on vacation, high party officials. They loved this residence more than the Owner. And there was a reason. The state cottage, located in the reserve, included a whole complex of buildings made in the style of constructivism. The main house, an open bandstand, guest houses, a food hall, the building of the commandant's office for the protection of this facility. There was a beach with a pier 400 m from the cottage. The interior of the Main House is decorated with ceiling and wall panels made of precious woods. Solid solid furniture without special frills and luxury. The atmosphere is a little gloomy, but much warmer and more comfortable than at other state dachas of I.V. Stalin in Abkhazia. Under the leadership of N.A.Lakoba, a unique arboretum of citrus, eucalyptus, tea bush and grapes was planted around the state cottage. The stunning landscape design has been preserved to the present day. Most of the buildings of the state duma require considerable investments and need major repairs, without which they will simply die. The impressions of visiting this place are mixed. I liked the park of rare plants better. If you are lucky enough to have a guide or a group escort who knows the history, geography and ecology of Mussera well, then you will have great pleasure. I recommend.

June 11, 2021The steps to the cottage are in terrible condition, the benches can be restored, the cottage is in an incomprehensible state, there is a new model here:air conditioning and bathrooms, there is no owner there..the place is certainly wonderful, Stalin's cottage after watching Gorbachev's cottage just seems like a country house

A very atmospheric place that allows you to understand some of the character traits of the "owner". It is a pity that the Abkhazians are not able to make an original museum and restore something. Abkhazians just want to cut down money on the legacy of the union...

I didn't think that this cottage would inspire me. However, it was nice to touch the story. She even wrote poetry. The guide who showed us this masterpiece was a real fan, I even miss his stories.

There are only walls and parquet from Stalin's dacha. Inside, furniture from the 70s and 80s. Everything was stolen and stolen in the 90s. The attitude towards the museum building is disgusting. They are not trying to restore anything, they are not trying to save anything. They launch 100 people at a time in an unorganized crowd. People go where they want, touch what they want.

For tour groups, the visit is combined with Gorbachev's dacha. You can't get to Stalin's country house, the whole tour goes around the building, you could only partially look through the window....and to be honest, there's not much to see there.

They don't value the museum. Very bad condition. Instead of glass in the window, there is a film. Countless bedbugs. Brrr. I'm not going there anymore.

It is a pity that in this poor (unhappy) country, the Stalinist Empire style was replaced by an aluminum profile.. I don't know who is to blame, of course. There are few attractions and this is one of them

The fare to the dacha of Stalin and Gorbachev (it is nearby) costs 250 rubles per person. The tour starts every hour. The cottage impresses with its former splendor, but currently everything is in a deplorable state. The nature around is fabulous, and Stalin Bay is just a paradise.
