A must-visit. Of course, tickets are expensive for Russians. But to come to Istanbul and not see the Sultan's palace.

A beautiful palace! I was glad that there is an audio guide on the deposit of a passport. It's a little cool inside the palace, they don't allow you to take pictures, but you can take a couple of shots surreptitiously) A large area around the castle, museums, we were there for 2 hours for sure)

In general, it is beautiful of course. Take an audio guide, otherwise it's pointless. Get ready to walk for an hour. There is a place to watch. Gorgeous view of the Bosphorus. And be sure to take a look at the Aivazovsky Gallery there. Tickets cost a lot of money.. About 40 dollars …

A wonderful museum with a very interesting history. Of course, you can walk there for a very long time, while admiring such beauty, time does not fly by noticeably.

Dolmabahçe Palace is one of the rare historical places worth visiting in Istanbul. Located in the Besiktas district of Istanbul, the palace is located at a point overlooking the Marmara Strait. The area where Dolmabahçe Palace is located has been known as a bay with the appearance of a natural harbor where ships have taken refuge many times since ancient times. At the same time, 15. it is also rumored that during the conquest of Istanbul by Fatih Sultan Mehmed in the century, it was the place where he landed his ships to land in the Golden Horn. During the Ottoman period, this bay, where the Captain-i Derya anchored the navy ships and traditional maritime ceremonies were held, was the 17th. since the beginning of the century, it has been filled in and turned into the hasbahçe of the sultans with the name “Dolmabahçe”. 19. the wooden pavilion and kasirlar ensemble built in this hasbahçe until the century was known as “Besiktas Seaside Palace”. In terms of function and architectural organization, Western architectural forms such as Baroque, Rococo, Neo-classical were used in the construction of the palace, which adheres to the Ottoman palace tradition and the characteristics of a Turkish house with a middle sofa and a corner room; a new interpretation was reached by kneading Ottoman traditional art and cultural elements with a western understanding. Visitors will also have the opportunity to see the areas where Mustafa Kemal Ataturk stayed for 4 years Decembers in the palace between 1927-1938 up close. The construction of the palace, which was built by Sultan Abdulmecid, began in 1843 and was completed in 1856. Visitors are welcomed by the thirty meter high clock tower located at the entrance of the Palace. I recommend that every traveler who falls on the way to Istanbul sees it.

A wonderful place! It is very beautiful, you definitely need to visit in order to touch the history. You can take a guided tour, you can do it yourself with an audio guide (you will need a passport as a deposit). You need comfortable shoes and time, it's a lot to walk, but it's worth it

It's just a gigascam, not a landmark. The appearance of the arches is enticing, but as beautiful as the arches are, everything is just as bad inside. For a price 8 times higher than for locals, you can walk through the endlessly boring corridors and admire the stunningly tasteless surroundings. The best thing there is is a collection of European dishes and several decent paintings. Only for a short time these paintings remain, given the conditions in which they are stored. Well, the big hall is nothing like that. But not for 3 thousand rubles. A maximum of 300, during rush hour.

A beautiful park overlooking the strait. The palace is worth going to, interesting interiors and useful information. After leaving, you will find yourself in a cozy cafe with very low prices. A good option to spend the day

A gorgeous palace like Versailles is only Turkish, must-visit, take an audio guide! included in the ticket price were in the 24th year, the ticket price increased compared to the 23rd year. But having been there a second time, I did not regret it. The cost of 24 years on a weekday is 1050 liras

Super! Definitely ready to visit. It is worth arriving in the morning, no later than 10. At 12 there are already crowds of people. The entrance is 650 lire. For this price, a palace, a harem, an art gallery, an audio guide. The clock museum and the glass pavilion (maybe I wrote it wrong, I didn't remember the name) are under reconstruction. We stopped to eat at a cafe on the way to the gallery, pleasant desserts are almost all 100lir. And then we saw a cafe inside the gallery, it's just a delight, the view is amazing, few people get there. I recommend it!

A place that every Turkish citizen should see, if possible, get information first and start visiting. The festive hall of the sultans is beyond magnificent. Of course, the most effective part for me is the room where my ancestor said goodbye to the world.

The palace is beautiful, but we managed to evaluate only its exterior facade and entrance group. The unfair high entrance fee for foreigners compared to the price for locals was the reason why we did not go inside. From the water, the facades of the palace look especially monumental.

It's a pretty clownish place: they forbid taking pictures, and even shout, like old watchmen, if children or adults take out their phone to answer a call or switch a track in the audio guide. Well, in fact, the most interesting thing here is an art gallery. The harem and the museum are all sofas and chairs. And there are a huge number of rooms that you can't see half of from the threshold. It is not worth its sum of 30 euros. It is better to spend the same money on wonderful views from the Galata Tower.

But here it is much more interesting than in Topkap. There are few disadvantages - a ban on photographing in interiors (if you really want to, then you can), tasteless coffee and only sweets in the cafe and do not forget to take an audio guide, the usher will not remind you. If you love Aivazovsky, you definitely should not miss the art gallery. Sultan's love for baccarat and other glass manufacturers deserves every encouragement :) But the almost empty walls spoil the impression a little... Tickets 450 lire/person for the entire complex - palace, harem, museum.

We chose this palace to visit instead of Topkapi and did not lose. In general, for the entire trip to Istanbul, the only place for which it was not a pity to pay an increased ticket price for tourists. For 1200 liras, a visit to the palace, garden, harem, art gallery and a free audio guide with a large-scale tour are included. The palace inside is incredible, the main hall took your breath away) A little unlucky, the glass staircase was under restoration. The harem is certainly more modest, but it also impressed. In the art gallery, they were amazed, like many Russian tourists, that there is a whole hall of Aivazovsky's works)

The ticket is 450 TL, the Museum Pass Istanbul is not included in the museum card. There is a slight dissonance between the Turkish palace and the European design, but it is majestic, beautiful and functional at that time. By time - at least 4-5 hours, so that you can inspect everything with a brisk step

The palace is huge in size. The entrance price is cosmic, but in Istanbul, they say, it's the same everywhere. What can I say - poverty and misery in this palace. Compared to Peterhof, it is a studio in Khrushchev. Only a huge hall with a crystal chandelier is worthy of attention, but it is at the very end of the route :)

It's a beautiful place. The ticket cost inadequate money, as of October 2024 it is 2000 lire. But if you are interested in just taking a photo for a non-telegram at the well-known gate to the Bosphorus, then you need to walk 600 meters down the street and enter through the entrance to the museum and it will cost many times cheaper. At that time, the ticket cost 300 lire. Nicely. I recommend

A very beautiful palace😻 fascinates more with its beauty from the outside than inside, you can get to the famous gate through the museum - FOR FREE The audio guide is included in the price, you need to take it at the entrance, they do not offer it themselves, here is only your initiative! But you will need a passport for him, do not forget to take it with you! The palace definitely needs to be visited once in a lifetime ☺️

A senseless waste of money and time! Just a very big house, furnished with Turkish chic! There are no excursions in the palace, you will be given a deposit of 100 euros or a passport (sic!) The audio guide is absolutely useless and not informative, because neither the premises nor the exhibits have signs in any language! You walk for a long time, then suddenly the audio guide informs you that you have passed some of your rare ones. And getting back to her is already a problem. And the whole story is only about the high cost of the things standing there Even the harem, about the structure of which it would be interesting to tell, is boring and colorless. Photos are prohibited

A beautiful palace in a beautiful place. The entrance ticket cost 1050 rubles. To inspect it myself and without an audio guide, even to figure it out for myself, I previously read Wikipedia about the history of the palace. In the palace itself, all the splendor is of course in the main halls where luxury and splendor, the facade of the palace is beautiful. I really liked the exposition of both the palace itself and the surrounding area and the views of the Bosphorus from the territory....Wow!

The beautiful palace shows very well the traditions of the last rulers of Turkey and the peace of Atayurk. The female side (harem) against the background of the male is modest, so that they would know their place ;)))) Audio guide in all languages, very detailed. There is no need to take pictures, so a couple of underground photos turned out ;)
