It is a very useful activity for those who will be in Baku. It takes you up to an observation deck with a beautiful view, especially impressive in the evening. It runs according to schedule, you can go up or down on it. But we used the stairs to get down and had a lot of fun - it's not hard at all. One disadvantage: there is no timetable for lifting the funicular (they say it moves every 15 minutes, but we queued for almost half an hour). This pleasure costs 1 manat/person, but you can only pay in cash. Somehow you won't experience the wow effect, but I recommend visiting.

Down without waiting in line. It's beautiful when two funiculars go to meet each other on the same canvas, and then they diverge on the sides.
