An excellent Soviet-era hotel, which carefully preserves the memory of outstanding figures of science, culture and art, prominent politicians, cosmonauts, chairmen of collective farms who stayed at the Bug Hotel at various times. Their photographs decorate the walls of the hotel's grand staircase.

A special place in the history of the hotel is occupied by the figure of Vladimir Semyonovich Vysotsky, who repeatedly stayed at the hotel in the 1970s. The former suite, on the second floor, now houses a museum created in his honor.
The hotel administration carefully and meticulously tried to recreate the atmosphere of that time. A refrigerator, a clock, a black-and-white TV of the famous Belarusian brand "Neman", a lamp radio "Rigonda" produced at the A.S. Popov radio factory in Riga, judging by the reviews on the network of visitors to the museum (unfortunately, it was closed during my visit) are fully operational.
I stayed in a small single room equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay.
Quite good-quality furniture, TV, Wi-Fi, bathroom with shower… Actually, everything you need to spend the night at the hotel is available in full.
Probably the only drawback: the service in the hotel restaurant. Two employees clearly could not cope with the amount of work that fell on them in the morning. By the time I arrived, a group of Russian tourists had left the hotel (their bus blocked the entire parking lot, barely wedged between it and another car, although in general, finding a free place at the hotel, even late in the evening, did not cause any special problems), screwed up so that two unfortunate waitresses, apparently, were already just a hand they waved; there were 45 minutes left before the end of breakfast). So, there was little left on the buffet, and no one was going to update it anymore.
In general, according to its parameters, the hotel fully meets the criterion of "price-quality".

Good hotel, convenient location, near the railway station,supermarket,coffee shop with delicious pastries, city park across the street, the nearest cafe in the park. There is a refrigerator and a hairdryer in the room. The kettle is missing. The staff is friendly, we had no problems changing the room upon request (it was overlooking the avenue, it seemed noisy to us). Cleaning is daily. Thanks!

A hotel with a history - many famous people have stayed. There is a Vysotsky Museum, which has been visited there 3 times. Everything is fine with the service, I liked it. The breakfasts are without frills, but everything is good, fresh, delicious. Near the center.

A good hotel. We took a family room. 3 beds. Air conditioning is available. It smacks of the Soviet Union. Soap falls out of the soap dish, the water in the shower does not go away. The floors in the rooms creak. The room was 313. The linen was clean, tidy, rested well. One metal room key. I didn't try to find fault. 4 I bet because there is room to grow

The Bug Hotel is very conveniently located: the railway station is 10 minutes away, the bus station is five (I recommend going to Belovezhskaya Pushcha from there without buying an excursion), there is a wonderful city park opposite the hotel, 15 minutes to Sovetskaya Street, it is pedestrian, there are many cafes and shops, the famous lamplighter lights lanterns in the evenings. The Brest Fortress is about two km from the hotel.
We rented a two-room room: cleanliness and order, change of towels every day. Many famous people stayed at the hotel. It's a pity, the restaurant is currently under renovation, there are only breakfasts, but we did not use it.
The reception staff is very polite and helpful.
You can take a kettle in the room, there is a coffee machine, you can buy drinks at the reception.
I recommend it, the hotel will not disappoint.

Clean, cozy. The breakfasts are good, but there is no porridge. There is a Vysotsky Museum. The rooms of the standard category are small - but everything you need is there.
A kettle can be provided downstairs, but there are problems with dishes - you can only count on getting a glass in the room and a board with a tray.
I also did not notice the water in the coolers, I would like to drink water from the road another time without taking out my wallet.
From pleasant, near the train station, shops, pharmacy, park and pedestrian Sovetskaya street. The square is also nearby.
The staff is friendly. They have their own restaurant, but so far it is under renovation.

The rooms are clean and cozy. Towels, individual hygiene items, hair dryer in the bathroom. There is a refrigerator in the room. The phone number is city. It is located in a beautiful place. The only drawback: there are no coolers with water.

We stayed overnight. Excellent location for those who need a railway or car station. Friendly girls at the reception. Our room was small, but with a balcony and a view of the train station. Of the disadvantages, this is an overpriced price and bed linen with black hair. I will not stay at this hotel anymore!

I liked the hotel, although I spent one night only (226). The room was very clean, the noise of the cars did not bother me, the administrators were on top. Breakfast, "you won't stay hungry" is true, but it's not scary. I will be happy to come again if possible.
P. S a fumigator would be good to keep on reception for guests who do not like mosquitoes) 😂

Among the cons: consistently disgusting breakfast service (according to reviews, the trend has been traced since 2019, stability is our everything), the coffee machine does not work (this fact is also often mentioned in reviews), during this time it would be possible to think of at least an alternative with instant coffee, but the hotel does not change traditions here either). Room cleaning leaves much to be desired - Elena Letuchaya would have been tired of changing gloves, besides, there was a noticeable smell of cigarettes in the room. Good audibility: a working refrigerator in the next room prevented you from falling asleep at night, I'm afraid to imagine if you also got noisy neighbors. I didn't notice the cooler either on the ground or on the 4th floor, but maybe I didn't look well.
In general, you can stay, but breakfast is not worth your money

We took a 4-bed room, 4 separate beds, the price for all came out to 6000 rubles. The room is clean, there are towels, soap, shampoo, toilet paper, refrigerator, air conditioning, TV. Wi-fi is very bad in the room, the reception is better. The location of the hotel is good, near the train station, grocery store. Free parking for cars at the hotel.
Among the disadvantages, disposable slippers are not given out, weak wi-fi, one pillow was very hard and uncomfortable. And so, in general, I recommend it, the hotel is good.

A good hotel at fairly budget prices. The room is clean, there is basically everything you need. The double standard has a large bed, a table, bedside tables, a wardrobe for outerwear, a mini-refrigerator. There is a shower and towels in the bathroom. I'm taking off the star only for the absence of condey. It's +32 outside, there's no point in opening the window, and it's very noisy, because the windows of the room overlook the road. Accordingly, due to the lack of air conditioning, it is generally impossible to stay in the room during the day. It didn't go anywhere at night.

I liked only the bed linen and breakfast.
We lived in a 4-bed room. Plumbing is a horror and a shame! The toilet seat is dark yellow, the shelves are swollen with moisture, I confirm that the towels are floor rags. The walls are splattered with something, but they didn't try to wash them, I moved the bed a little, and there's old dust stuck there.

narrow. It's just inconvenient. It is easier to make a single room with the same bed. And everything else: the room for check-in from 14.00, we arrived at 11.00 and immediately checked in. Everything was ready. There is a luggage room. You can ask for a kettle in the room. For breakfast, they provide sliced meat and cheese, vegetable salads, muesli, porridge (which I won't say I haven't tried), smoked sausages, omelette (we didn't like it), fried eggs. Tea in assortment, coffee. If you are not picky, then everything is within the norm. It is better to look for lunch and dinner in the city. The hotel restaurant is closed.

A very good hotel, excellent staff, clean everywhere. There is WiFi. The prices are quite reasonable. The only thing is unclear with breakfast. After reading reviews about them, I did not ask, but they did not offer me. But there were no problems. On request, they gave a kettle and the necessary utensils, had a snack in the room, and more seriously - there are a lot of wonderful cafes in Brest, one of them is a Suitcase, very close to the hotel. I will be happy to stay here again.

A hotel with a history, but without the present. I hope the future of this hotel will match its history. Currently, this is not a comfortable hotel for a stay of more than one night. There wasn't even a chair in the room to sit and work at the table that was available. There is no private parking. Given the fact that there is a train station nearby, upon arrival, it is very difficult for you to park your car in the immediate vicinity of your place of residence. From the positive: the hotel is clean, the bed linen is clean and not old, the breakfasts are normal, but not outstanding.

I had a very good rest. Wonderful and clean. Everything is there. Hair dryer, refrigerator, iron and board in the hallway, shampoo, soap, remote control with batteries, lamps with light bulbs. Don't find fault with anything. Before leaving, I opened the balcony and assessed the temperature outside. I dressed for the weather. The linen is snow-white. Everything is in style. I recommend. It's a disgusting place! It is indicated at the time of booking that there is parking! In fact, parking is only for the authorities, and guests can use the city parking if they find a place! In general, the hotel is 4+ (well, you could put a shoe spoon in the room, and put at least half a liter of water for two).
A score of 3 is not bad, it is satisfactory.
I was extremely upset by the unfriendly staff, especially at the reception. I'm not talking about a smile, I can live without it. But when I checked in, I heard only 3 phrases:
- hello (in response to my greeting);
- your passports;
- your number is so-and-so.
Everything else had to be extracted in the next 2 days.
They didn't say anything about breakfast either (neither when paying, they could be included in the price, nor when checking in ...). And breakfast is very good: for 15 BYN per person, a buffet.

The hotel is of an average level, despite the fact that it is advertised due to the fact that Vysotsky and Vladi once rested there. There are no air conditioners in the rooms, and there are no water coolers on the floors either.
