In September, they were poisoned with hinkals and spent two sunny, long-awaited days of vacation in the room! Fortunately, we were advised to drink a glass of chacha with salt and we survived))
We came here on the advice and reviews, supposedly very tasty and legendary khinkali, unfortunately we did not find such there! Think many times about whether to eat here, about the existence of sanitary norms or service here and have not heard.

We came to the cafe on the recommendation of the "most delicious khinkali in Gagra". Khinkali is certainly decent, but frankly they don't pull at the most delicious. In general, the food is delicious, the advantages are over. The air conditioners did not work - the heat was terrible, the condition of furniture, equipment and repairs - everything was dead. In general, we will not go there anymore.

We went to a cafe based on the reviews that I read for the first time in Abkhazia in general and in Gagra in particular.
The result: poisoned.
I can't say what, I ate okroshka and 2 khinkali.
Khinkali, in my opinion, are too popular. In fact, the dough is thick, there is very little meat, and what is there is in such spices that neither taste nor smell can be recognized.
I sin in Khinkali, because I couldn't eat anything else that day ((( and so on.a couple of days too..
There are more onions in a vegetable salad than cucumbers and tomatoes.
There is more water in mashed potatoes than potatoes.

The cafe itself is squalid, and the service is terrible!!!! Although the waiters are smiling, but still (I had to wait for the waiter for 15 minutes, and then they called me themselves, so I wouldn't have come up) . We ordered shish kebab (not tasty pickled, rubber), rustic potatoes, white sauce (it was liquid like water) and beer. Potatoes were served, then shish kebab with sauce. They did not wait for the instruments. Why?! We ate shish kebab with potatoes with our hands.. I didn't like it, I won't advise anyone and we won't go any more!

We have been to Abkhazia twice, and each time we came from Pitsunda to this khinkalnaya. We came here knowing that national dishes are very tasty here. We read the reviews in advance, so the institution did not cause any negative emotions.
Yes, self-service is interesting here) The first time we came, we took the menu, decided on the choice, we approached the girl behind the counter ourselves, and she accepted our order. Ready meals were also picked up by themselves. But in subsequent times, for some reason, the girl already brought it to us herself) Didn't understand what it was connected with)
Now about the very atmosphere of the cafe. Smoking is really allowed there. And, to be honest, if we were with a small child, we wouldn't go there. There is a toilet. But to get into it, you need to take the key, leave the cafe and turn right. There will be a door directly to the toilet room))
I would like to say separately about the dishes.
We could say that we were traveling as gastronomic tourists, so we tried to try everything) Khinkali is very juicy, with broth. There is a good amount of coriander in the minced meat, it is very tasty. Khachapur with cheese (which is not Adjarian) is insanely satisfying, delicious, smeared with butter on top. And my husband really liked the hodgepodge. After trying it in other places, I concluded that it was the best here. This is not soup, as in our view, but pieces of meat, with coriander and herbs with a small amount of broth. You can also buy lemonades from the Sukhumi Brewery here. We liked them.
Well, I want to say, we will be in Gagra, we will definitely visit more than once. And for those who did not like it here, I would like to advise you - read reviews about the establishments before you go. Especially in another country. Then you won't waste time and nerves)

But there were a lot of people in the cafe, no matter how many times they were there - they had to wait 15 minutes or more for cooking, but it's worth it.

Why is such service the norm throughout Abkhazia?!? No matter which cafe you come to, you are greeted with such a look. Why did you show up? We're all wildly tired, get back out! Communication is the same.
In general, it is delicious, but I do not understand the pricing - 200 r noodle soup!!! Prices have apparently been raised just recently. For what??? And another big disadvantage is that there is no toilet.
