We went with a friend to specially eat ribs and try the local beer. But.....there were no ribs and they were not even expected the next day. The waiter, a very nice girl, explained to us that it was good that there were no ribs....(?????Really?) Since we can try something else, @for, well, cool. There is no signature dish in an institution with a talking name👏👏👏It turns out, as we were told, the ribs are very difficult to get, and the staff is directly forced to run around the shops and markets to find them🤣🤣🤣Well okay....Is there any local beer on the taps? It turns out that there is also no .....only the Belgian Grimbergen, which is now everywhere. We still found two bottles of local ......well, the choice turned out to be better in the next store.
As a result, we ordered carpaccio and tartar on a bone, there are no complaints about delicious tartar, mustard dressing interrupted everything in carpaccio. Well, I had to wait, basically raw dishes, for 30 minutes. In the complete absence of guests in the hall.
In general, it is a very strange trend- after going around a dozen cafes and restaurants in 2 days, we practically did not meet local cuisine, everywhere like "high European ", diflops under a foam of whipped champagne.....It can be found in any corner of the world. Therefore, apparently, all establishments are practically empty. All under one comb - pasta, pizza, carpaccio, etc. well, we would like to go to Italy for pasta....
The only institution that we visited twice, strangely enough, was, in fact, the dining room -"Batkin's Hut" where there was Belarusian cuisine and local beer and its own tinctures and even Belarusian moonshine. I can even give this place six stars, according to the variety of dishes and the price-quality ratio...You can also serve traditional dishes of your native cuisine in an interesting and beautiful way, just play with the design and serving. Why are we all nodding at someone and not respecting ourselves? By the way, there is an interesting Helga restaurant in Pskov, the emphasis is on local products and Russian cuisine, and what kind of presentation is there-a work of art, the chef is a separate compliment and respect, by the way, he is the winner of the Young Knives show

From the recommendations: please remove from the menu smoked cheese for 13p, which is exactly the same in the store costs 4p - this snack spoiled the impression of other worthy dishes. Either let it be cheaper or there will be more of it, or add something there to be different from the store.

We came to Vitebsk from Minsk for a day and were looking for a place to drink beer on Saturday evening. We chose an Edge based on reviews of the author's cuisine. Although they had only a couple of types of beer, our impression was brightened up by the pleasant service and atmosphere of the place. The cooks work right in plain sight. The waiters are friendly and professional. The interior is pleasant. The dishes are indeed decorated in an original way. We ordered a hamburger. Fresh, full of flavor. I'm glad we chose this restaurant.

We drove into the Trio, we go and see the "Edge", before that we were on the Soviet side three times. We decided to have a snack. I asked the waitress which of their tables were from the common room and indicated where we would sit. 5-10-15 nothing is happening! I try to call and nothing happens. Three employees are standing at the checkout, looking at me and nothing, I come up and it turns out that you have to stand in the cafeteria and choose food at the checkout! I'm at a loss as to why the nearby pizza smile fits the menu, but they don't. The answer is that this is the policy of the management. And no matter how I tried to explain to them that this is not logical and wrong, the result is one three monkeys in one voice, we do it that way and do what you want with it. Everything happened on 02/06/2022. If this is really the case, then in my opinion you guys are very much wrong. After that, we went to a cafe on Sovetskaya Street and everything went there too, not without questions. The first two dishes were served relatively quickly, and we waited 50 minutes for Tartare and pate from the beginning of the order. Lay out the tartare blank and toast the bread for the pate-50 minutes. Therefore, this score is zero(0) for the cafe in the Trio and 3-4 for the Soviet one. And just because it was not bad the previous three times, although they took out tom yam without rice, on the other hand, they were able to make a perfect medium rare roast in a steak the same time. In general, he has the right to life on the Soviet side, and in the Trio I would change the policy and not spoil the overall impression. At the same time, children's maximalism could walk around the hall with a menu.
