There were cockroaches in the first room that we were settled in (superio on the 4th floor), the smell came from the kitchen through ventilation and turned on automatically at 6 a.m. they asked to move us, without question they gave us another room and with a normal view of the pool, but the hotel is being renovated and every day we listened to the sounds of a puncher that came from the next room while we were going to the sea after breakfast. And cockroaches came there too. On the last day, the water in the entire hotel was turned off for a couple of hours. The food is not tasty, broccoli seems to be boiled in some kind of fish water and very salty, cauliflower is sour, there were delicious eggplants once, the rest of the days they just lay dry, tomatoes are mostly green or with black inside, cucumbers are terrible with large seeds. rice is mostly hard undercooked, French fries are not bad, if you take meat (chicken) or fish, you always need to stand in line until it is cooked for you, but it is better to come to the beginning of lunch or dinner because it all ends and they do not add new portions. For breakfast, too, you should always stand in line for an omelet or scrambled eggs, for sausage or cheese, too, a queue and give 2 pieces each or they can put more for a tip. Water is given in the room one 1.5 liter bottle for two and that's it, water was bought in stores for $ 2. They asked in the lobby bar to pour water, they said no, you have water in your room, once they poured water at the beach, but they were very unhappy.

You can write endlessly about Sol Palmeras. Of course, you can dig up negative points - but why? Cuba is love forever ❤ And far from it, some possible negative moments are erased, forgotten. We had a bungalow booked, as it turned out on arrival you can pay $ 20 extra per night and enjoy in a two-storey luxury bungalow 10 meters from the ocean, which we did. Before I forget, be sure to subscribe to the telegram to the Russian group Sol Palmeras and you will be happy. They are cleaned every day, if you leave $ 1, swans will immediately appear in the bathroom and additional bottles of water in the room. Shampoo and shower gel are in bottles of 400 grams each. There is only one Russian channel on TV, and even that one works intermittently, but the pindos broadcast around the clock. Beach. Beautiful, white clean sand. We were out of season so the sun beds were almost all free. The underwater world on the beach is very boring, it simply does not exist, there is a continuous sandy desert all around. A mask and fins can be useful if you are tempted to go on a boat to a supposedly reef with fish. We didn't go. You can take a catamaran for half an hour for free. If you want something else like sap, prepare to pay $ 15 per hour. There is mini football on the beach and volleyball, both on the beach and on the hotel grounds near the pool. There are enough bars, rum flows like a river. Another very important point, take thermos cups with you, as much as possible, I saw Russians with liter thermos cups and they were poured without questions. There is also ice cream in the pavilion behind the pool, 10.00 to 17.30. The territory is large, beautiful, all in greenery. The staff is excellent, although few people speak Russian. But everyone understands each other! Everyone usually praises the Cubitas bar on the 2nd floor. And we didn't like it at all. The cocktails are disgusting, the coffee is 3. But!!! On the 2nd floor, next to the Italian restaurant, there is another bartender Sergio (he is also a waiter). This is a cocktail specialist👍 We heartily recommend it!!! There is a swimming pool, for children and adults. Room cleaning and towel change every day. Change of bed linen a couple of times in 10 days. Bottled water of 1.5 liters (refilled as needed) And a separate minus is the hotel guide from Pegasus. We had Igor. Just to sell the tours. It was his fault that they didn't get to one, the money was really returned. And we do not recommend the discovery tour. In fact, the whole day is in the heat, and the most interesting thing is a 15-minute ride along the river on a motor boat. Of the excursions, not from Pegasus, we recommend: Havana with a ride in a retro car. Trinidad, Cienfuegos and the El Nicho Nature Reserve. And the most important thing that covers all the disadvantages is the OCEAN!!! It's incredible, the shore is soft sand. The beauty is unearthly❤

I can't tell if it's true or not, but everyone talks about it all the time. So, the hotel has a large, beautifully maintained territory. A gorgeous huge wide beach with white sand, the entrance to the water is very gentle, you need to walk a little to get to a depth sufficient for swimming. Daylight hours are from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. From 5 to 7 pm, you can swim perfectly, it's not cold, there is no scorching sun, the sea is like fresh milk, an amazing pleasure. Waves often come up after lunch. Despite the fact that it is not the season, the weather is good. Sometimes clouds will come, but they are even better, there is no scorching sun and suffocating heat. There are strong short showers that pass quickly. There are no nasty things like biting jellyfish or overgrown bottom in the sea, it's just perfect. There is always a problem with sun beds on the beach in the morning, they need to be occupied until 8 am, otherwise at 10 you will not find any free ones, after lunch there are always sun beds. This is an artificial shortage, there are no sunbeds at all on a third of the beach, it turns out that it is not used for some reason. There are no buildings on the territory above 2 floors, including the main building. It is not large, most of the rooms are located in bungalows. The room stock is more or less decent, but do not expect luxuries, the furniture is old and scary. I had no questions about plumbing at all, everything worked, the shower and water pressure were decent, a large countertop where it was convenient to arrange everything, the bathroom was large. The safe and air conditioning were working. There are no slippers and bathrobes, there are glasses, as well as a refrigerator and a drip coffee maker, but there is no coffee. Cosmetics at a minimum - soap, gel, shampoo. There is an ironing board with an iron. There are a lot of animals, ants, beetles, lizards and piles of mosquitoes, take sprays and mosquito bracelets. Local money is needed in small amounts only for tips. Otherwise, dollars and euros are accepted everywhere, and with small checks of 1:1. There is practically no cleaning in the rooms, my cleaner turned swans for me when I tipped her, but never in 12 days did she wash the floors and even the plumbing, thank God that at least she replenished the water regularly, a large bottle of water every day. There is talk of theft everywhere, I have not encountered it, no one has ever touched anything anywhere. The food and coffee are disgusting everywhere. The choice is meager, and even the food is tasteless. People wrote that coffee is better in the lobby, I went to drink coffee after the main restaurant in the lobby, but I didn't notice much difference, the same slop. Moreover, there is delicious coffee everywhere on excursions, just do not take cappuccino, otherwise it will also not be possible to drink it. There is a lot of food, the main restaurant is huge, but you need to find something acceptable for you, since cooking is for three. Meat that is fried like a sole, there are no vegetables except grated cranberries, beets and cabbage, seafood was in the form of small chopped crabs, there was a feeling that someone piled up the peelings, the oysters were closed and without ice, I decided not to risk it. There are clouds of flies in the dining room. A grill is organized by the pool at lunch, sausages, burgers, ribs are fried, pumpkin and sweet potatoes are baked, and this is all very tasty, be sure to try it. Drinks and cocktails are normal everywhere, rum flows like a river, so enjoy. Condos everywhere either do not work or work poorly, the reception is wildly stuffy, in the lobby and in the restaurant with varying success. There are a lot of people in the hotel, as there was a huge queue at the restaurant for lunch, but the Cubans try to quickly clean the tables and eventually everyone finds a place. Do not take excursions from Pegasus, this is a waste of money, they are wildly expensive and stupid, there are endless food outlets with grated carrot and rice, and time in beautiful colonial cities is minimal, as well as information about them from guides. Upon arrival, join the hotel chat in telegram and you will find everything at once, including the contacts of individual guides who will take you to Havana and Trinidad, show and tell you everything, you will have lunch with lobsters and all this will also be cheaper than in pegasus. Take boat trips, they are worth it because of the opportunity to catch and eat lobsters and swim with dolphins in the dolphinarium. The sun is hellish, take protection as much as possible, 70, 100, etc., 50 does not save, and it would be nice to have a shirt with sleeves for swimming, I brought one from Tai and swam in it for a week after it burned down. Everything you need should be with you, medicines first of all, you can't buy anything anywhere there. There are catamarans, bicycles, boards on the beach, you can swim and actively relax. The hotel has good animation, there are activities in the pool all day, at sea - water aerobics, dancing, volleyball, etc. In the evening, singers and musicians of a very decent level sing and play in the lobby, an acrobatic show periodically performs, so that's all right. WF is disgusting, constantly knocks out and works very limited in territory. In the far bungalows and in the restaurant it is not at all, there is a pool in the lobby, as well as by the sea in a straight line from the lobby, you can also catch it. The airport is modest, duty free is more or less, the choice is modest, they take only euros / dollars, the conduits also work poorly. I don't seem to have forgotten anything.
