Very convenient location, in the city center, within walking distance from the park and the promenade. Cafes and shops are nearby.
The rooms are different, not all suites have air conditioning. There are none in regular rooms at all. There are few outlets. The rooms, which overlook the street and not the courtyard, are very noisy.
There was no "do not disturb" sign, I had to ask at the reception. Some rooms have microwaves, it is necessary to clarify.
As it is, the rooms are old, the doors are shabby, and the bedside tables are falling apart in some places.
The staff is friendly. They clean well.

It is 3 stars + "nostalgia" for the Soviet service. A hotel with a history, built on the site of a historic cathedral in Soviet times, opposite the city Executive Committee. The pathos of communication reminds us of this. You are not the guest here, but you have been allowed to settle here ;) : check-in in the "wait for it" style, on the floors there are duty desks without them, with suitcases you will be directed to the stairs (about the elevator nearby only if you guess yourself). In a word, the "biased" interrogation of the administrator is necessary for all important points for you, otherwise it will not split. Parking at the hotel for the City Executive Committee (according to the administrator), not according to road signs. There is a private parking with paper registration. The room has everything you need, but the quality of "hello USSR": cotton linen, napkins in the most unpredictable places, lamps and furniture do not agree. We were at the end of April- it was terribly cold, we asked for a blanket- they brought it, thank you! The city was pleasantly surprised, beautiful and diverse.

There is a fridge and a kettle in the room. There are two sockets and those on the floor. So it is not convenient to put a kettle in this regard. There are no sockets next to the bed, respectively.

What to say. There may be problems with parking. In the plan - if you want to park near the entrance for free (there is paid Parking, I did not use it). The room is a standard double room, but they gave a bathrobe and slippers. However, after midnight the electricity went out in the sockets. As a result, the refrigerator with food stalled. But there is a great cafe nearby (the national restaurant "Batki"), where for 35 rubles you can eat together with beer + almost next to a funny and delicious cafe ("Old Time"), lunch without alcohol - 90 rubles for two.

It's a strange hotel, it's easier to rent an apartment, because housing in this hotel does not give any advantages.
There is no restaurant, there is no breakfast (or go to the pancake house around the corner, where the order will be prepared for half an hour).
A flimsy room key on a flimsy keychain.
I lived in a Suite where everything is meaningless. There is no desk for work, there is a table for a check and a sofa in one room, and a bed in another. The bed is the only plus of the room.
The toilet paper is single-layer thin.
The light turns off in the most unexpected places, in order to turn off the light in the bedroom, you have to go to the next room.
Curtains do not completely cover the light, why are they needed at all?
In short, formally everything is there, in fact — everything is for show and people themselves do not know why they did all this in the room, and how it should actually be done.
But cleaning is daily, why is unclear. Take out the empty urn and make the bed? I know this is a standard, but its meaning is unclear.
This is all despite the fact that this is not a cheap hotel at all, so I'm not picking on it, I just want the service to be for the guest, and not for the inspection authorities.

We lived in the studio only after the renovation. The renovation is good, the room is large, the bathroom is huge, and there is a small shower stall in it.
It was about 19 °C outside, a cool wind, i.e. it's not summer at all yet, but the room is already stuffy and not comfortable to sleep, and there is no air conditioner, there are no mosquito nets on the windows either, and you can't really open the windows, because Sovetskaya Street is very busy and you can't sleep with the window open.
There is paid Parking - 4 rubles per day.
