A regular zoo like in many cities in other countries. There is nothing particularly interesting here. It's too boring and depressing. There is a covered building with representatives of the fauna. You can go if you're really bored, but I don't advise tourists from other countries to waste time.

The animals are very emaciated (especially wolves), most are kept in terrible conditions - the cages are dirty, many animals have nothing in them, and the water in which the fish swim is murky. The animals are not cared for... Parrots sit indoors, do not scream. They show that their whole life is stressful (pictured). Our younger brothers are not respected and disliked here, it hurts to look, I really regret that I visited this place. Finally, I would like to add that the entrance fee is unrealistically high (40,000 soums as of July 2024)

But I wanted to leave a review about the ZUZU cafe located in the zoo itself, I was on 05/15/2024 with a 3.5-year-old child, I wanted to have a snack, went to zuzu, ordered a hot dog and donar, the next day we had a flight, as a result, a child with an intestinal infection and I, before departure, my poor child was so vomiting that I had to call an ambulance, we barely left, and the same thing started happening to me upon arrival. Horror, never eat there, and even more so do not feed the children.

It's just great. As it became possible to take care of animals, so everything has grown. Bears, lions, tigers walk plump, healthy. It's just a joy to watch. Before, of course, it was hard for the zoo, and the animals were thin. They opened different aviaries, pythons, hippos, monkeys, birds. There are also giraffes, zebras and an elephant. Well, cool. It was interesting to go. Jurassic Park is also cool. After visiting the park, both children and adults are happy.
I can't say anything about nutrition, I didn't notice any cafes operating in the park.

It is not only a zoo, but also an amusement park
There are several trampolines, carousels, a playground, attractions, scooter rentals, a spike, a catamaran, pony rides, cafes, VR attractions, a mirror maze, etc.
Entertainment for every taste
It is better to drive in the morning, while it is not very hot and parking is free.
By the way, the zoo has two entrances and each has parking spaces (10,000 soums)
We really liked it. I noted a couple of disadvantages for myself - broken paths, no elephants, zebras, giraffes (this part is under reconstruction).

You can just go for a walk, inside where the fish are not particularly interesting, it's better to go to the aquarium, it's much better there, you go into the pavilions, the stench is terrible that you won't stay there for a long time, well, children are interested anyway. I didn't like where the dinosaurs were, first of all, the entrance was very expensive and we could have done it cheaper, pay the entrance to the zoo, then to the dinosaurs, it takes a decent amount for the family, the son ran literally 10 minutes and we got out of there. You can bring the children together for a change.

I was in Tashkent on business and decided to visit the zoo on my free day. At first there were certain doubts - experience suggests that in the hot season such places smell quite unpleasant, but the Tashkent zoo was pleasantly surprised - all the enclosures are clean, the animals are well-groomed and look quite happy and healthy.
The zoo is quite large and you need to plan at least half a day to visit it.
