We were happy to just walk there ourselves, we didn't want to ride scooters. And in the zoo, my feet would be more pleasant on a scooter: where you need to stop there, where you don't want to, no.
TRANSPORT that serves visitors is too expensive. Although I do not remember how much, I clearly heard 300 thousand som for 6 people. That's why I didn't ask. I don't know how much they pay for rent, but they earn a lot.

And as you understand, this is exactly what this hopeless situation is) I apologize for the details, but almost all animals have diarrhea, which tells me that this is abnormal. Rodents are already in small spaces, so everything is in the dirt and in their excreta. The smell is terrible just. Goats don't have a single piece of earth in their cage where their excrement isn't. The rabbit from hopelessness is crammed into corners where they did not go to the toilet. In small cages, they stupidly go to the toilet at each other. There are even dead animals in some places. The bear has a terrible mane, on one side it is there, on the other it is not. I don't think this is a feature of his molting)
We were not allowed to see primates and birds, they said repairs, but I managed to look at the primates outside the cage) I saw a picture of a man, looking under 50 years old with a child and wife, standing and snorting at a cougar filming it on camera) The cougar was shocked, like me) At the same time, no one made a comment from the park staff, but we were reprimanded for throwing an apple to the behemoth, and 4 times we were told that we could not. Although there was a heartbreaking picture in a cage with badgers. We threw a piece of apple into the cage, and the badger turned out to be without a leg, and he frantically crawled to this apple to eat it, while he had food in a bowl. The animals stupidly did not eat what they had, but they ate ordinary apples with wild joy. I had guests from America and that I was shocked by what they saw. Most likely, we will not leave this situation just like that, as it was very painful to look at these animals, tears welled up in everyone.

There are no words about this zoo. We visited zoos in different cities of Russia, but we have never seen such an outrage as in this zoo. Probably, animals feel better on the street than in this institution. It feels like they are here waiting for certain imminent death. The animals are unkempt, dirty, some of the animals are skin and bones. It is unclear where human rights defenders and government representatives are looking. The animals are in concrete cages, instead of moving around on the grass. When we were there, birds of prey were fed mice. Even for an adult, it was nauseating, it is difficult to imagine the condition of children when they see severed paws. With all my love for zoos, I will never return to this institution. So far, there is a faint hope for the prudence and cordiality of the authorities of this city in particular and the country as a whole, and they will understand that you can not mock animals like that. Although the zoo is old and has not been restored for a long time, everything in it is somehow sincere. The animals are in contact, the enclosures are large and it is clear that they are comfortable. 97% of the animals were in their places. The children were delighted! We fed the fawns and camels, who came up to us to pose like they had been taught. The fawns were even petted. It was very interesting to see the white peacocks, the wonderland and the terrarium. We visited the Moscow Zoo in May, so the children liked it more in Tashkent. Yes, there is more territory in Moscow and the landscape is much better, but you come to the zoo to look at the animals! And that's where Moskovsky loses! In Tashkent, you can closely observe bears, kangaroos, hippos, bears, a tiger and a lion. In general, there are a lot of impressions! Like the zoo, hello to Zuzu the bear))))
