Everything is beautiful , but for some reason the Minister of Culture decided that it was necessary to pay 750 and 1500 drams to enter the territory ? For what it is not a business center ,,, this ancient monastery should be accessible to everyone, but for some reason they cunningly acted the locals can enter the territory for free and the guests pay 1500 draim almost 400₽ ... so some kind of aligarch rules there …

The place is just freaky, it's better to come at sunset or at dawn, then the light adds 100% emotion! It is better to drive up not from Yerevan but from the region, then Yandex Navigator leads an expensive road comparable in impressions to Garni. The pagan Temple of the Sun (1st century AD). Destroyed by an earthquake and lay in ruins for several centuries. In Soviet times, it was very carefully restored.
