An interesting, ancient place, we were in early May, so there were few people, they say, there is a lot more flow in the season. It takes about 40 minutes by car from Yerevan. It's more interesting with a guide, of course, but you can do it without it. The approximate visit time is 30 minutes, the complex is small.

It was built in the 1st century, when the territory of Armenia was a province of the Roman Empire. Antiquity :) Nearby in the gorge is a unique place "Symphony of stones" - the walls of the gorge consist of identical "pillars" of hexagons. Very beautiful.
