I visited Belarus this summer, I am very happy with the trip! I had dinner at the Cornflowers in Minsk, I am grateful to the staff, wonderful attentive and friendly waiters, I got acquainted with traditional cuisine, I will not say that I became a fan of it, but I always like to try local cuisine when traveling to other places. Cornflowers has a large selection and decent service! I wish this network prosperity and stability!

Walking around Minsk, we planned lunch at the Cornflowers. My daughter and son-in-law were advised as one of the best chain restaurants of Belarusian cuisine. We found the nearest one. Located in the center. We were offered a place on the second floor. They chose it for the kitchen, as the heat outside was hellish. The interior is stylized. The tables are large and comfortable. A comfortable distance between the neighboring one. There are a lot of visitors-they are prepared for a long wait. The drinks were taken out immediately. They suggested adding lemon to the beer, which surprised me a little. This is very unusual!!! It's delicious in itself, and I'm not a beer lover, but lemon has added pleasant refreshing notes. The main dishes were served in 30-40 minutes. We took traditional pancakes in various versions, salads, soup and assorted dumplings baked in a creamy sauce-it's just a bomb. Be sure to try it. Everything is very, very tasty. The portions are large, the price is affordable (six dishes with drinks cost 3 t.r. in terms of Russian). The service is high-quality. The staff is polite and friendly. Tips can be left in Belarusian or Russian rubles, as well as deducted from the card.
I would like to note that during our trip to Belarus, we tried draniki in various versions and in different establishments, including pretentious ones (I will write in another comment necessarily)- everywhere they cook in different ways and sometimes at an exorbitant price. Here is one of the best offers regarding price, quality, taste, and serving. But dumplings are still my favorite!!!

It's a great place. I would say that it is a popular favorite. I recommend it to early breakfast lovers. From eight in the morning, you can have a very tasty and satisfying meal. Very cool ready-made options, plus the possibility of an individual choice from porridge to fried sausages. Good coffee and delicious tea. The staff is at the highest level. They are polite and friendly, in other respects, like all the Minsk residents with whom I had a chance to talk.

Since Cornflowers is a "network", there are several of them in Minsk, I was in the one opposite the KGB. My table was served by a very pleasant waiter who always appeared on time and brought the dishes in the right order. The dishes in the photo on the menu completely match those that are served.
If it is important to someone - good quality cutlery, served in a closed form, dishes without chips and cracks, napkins in sufficient quantity, salt, pepper, toothpicks - everything is freely available).
I wanted to try the national dishes, so, of course, pancakes with machanka in Belarusian. Satisfying and delicious.
A beer cocktail tastes good, but not mine. If you are not a fan of complexly composed flavors, it is better to have a separate beer, a separate tincture.

However, they warn that the delivery takes about 40 minutes, but in the end the order was waited for an hour. The portion of the rustic breakfast in the picture turned out to be much larger than in reality, and there were no pancakes with chicken.
