I still don't understand how positive reviews are formed.
Facts - they ordered French fries (well, the child wanted them), brought all the burnt ones, forgot ketchup (although they ordered and paid for it), until they reminded, they brought it.
Cutlery, plates - well, everything is as simple as possible
Chairs - we were in the hall with such chairs, they are all stained, looking not very mildly
Payment - I paid in cash, even for decency they did not bring back the change and the check
From a good location and a spacious enough place

This cafe was recommended to me by my friends - residents of Tbilisi. The interior is ambiguous. Somehow everything is very simple, even very simple. But the kitchen is great! Everything is very tasty: khinkali, shish kebab and salads. There are no tourists there. Only locals walk. And the locals won't go to a bad cafe.

We found this place based on reviews. I wanted khinkali. We climbed to look at the reviews. We stopped at this institution. Came...That queue, but..we decided to wait. And they didn't regret it. The queue goes fast . Khinkali is the tastiest)) someone wrote here about the gloomy interior - he did not confuse us))) everything was compensated by khinkali. Only..I didn't like khinkali with cottage cheese and cheese. Well.. it's not khinkali anymore, but big dumplings😀 those who like such dumplings will like it. If you get on a shift when the waiter boys are working, then they are somehow more smiling. By the way...we still managed to forget the bag there with documents and money. Everything was returned to us in one piece! Thank you very much!!!

The only advantage of this place is an interesting interior. The waiters are unfriendly, the prices are high. I was here two times at different times, both times there were no mushroom khinkali, although there is one on the menu. I do not recommend it.

Such a delicious place. Be sure to take khinkali halakuri, khachapuri in Megrelian, pork kebab. I got acquainted here with the dish "Mexican potatoes", also a very tasty version of potatoes with spices. Prices are lower than the average in Tbilisi, but the taste, quality and atmosphere are higher than any other institution.

Everything is fine with food, nothing bad, and I won't say anything good. We have not experienced any taste fieria)).
If you do not speak English or Georgian, it will be difficult to figure out what to order. Maybe of course we weren't particularly lucky and the cute waitress girls start speaking Russian only after tipping.

We had lunch in two restaurants of the chain (Tbilisi, Telavi), quality and service are equivalent!!!

A great place, fully justified the expectation!
We were probably very lucky with the waiter (judging by other reviews), all the dishes were cooked quickly and without mistakes, everything was brought gradually so as not to force the table!
Together with my wife, we spent GEL 115, where 15 were optional tips. I ordered: khinkali 10 pieces (5 fried, 5 ordinary), khachapuri, shish kebab, salad, 1 liter of homemade Kindzmarauli, 1 Tank of beer.
The waiter girl came up more than once to find out how the dishes were served to us, very politely answered all questions about the dishes and recommended wine, which we were delighted with.
The food is beyond praise, 15 out of 10, I dream of going back there!
With a full hall, she managed everything, as well as the rest of the waiters did not pass by seeing a dirty napkin or an empty plate, they always took it away.
It's a great place, I recommend 100% to everyone.

Everything was fine until you visitors ruined this restaurant. I am a Georgian, I have lived in Russia all my life, and this was my favorite restaurant. When I came to visit my family, I was happy to go with my wife or friends to sit and soak up this pleasant atmosphere. A year and a half ago, only the local population gathered there. It was delicious and inexpensive. And there are few visitors. And now it's like in Russia. Damn, it's like I never left there. I talked with a friend of the administrator of this restaurant, he is shocked by what is happening now from the influx of visitors. Hence the boorishness and careless attitude towards visitors. The influx of visitors and the filling of the ticket office do not always have a positive effect on the atmosphere and quality. Often the opposite is true. According to the administrator, it used to be more emotional than it is now. And who doesn't know, this place used to be called Mukhambazi, and was a favorite place of the local bohemians.

The pork kebab is dry, cold, the waiters are not friendly, the hall is very dark and there is not enough lighting above the tables. Half of the menu was missing. A very long wait for the waiters. They didn't bring one item from the menu + they asked many times to bring water and a glass — they also didn't bring them. When asked to come over, each waiter asked to wait a little, but the wait dragged on for 10-15 minutes. We do not recommend it.

I often visited this place, in general I was always satisfied: dishes were brought quickly, very tasty khinkali. But the last time I was very surprised:
1) we waited for the table for about an hour, we definitely stood for 40 minutes, although we came on Sunday at 7-8 pm, there were not very many people. There were 6 of us and we were very hungry
2) when they started ordering, it turned out that there was NOTHING available except hinkali, khachapuri and shish kebab. That's it!!! no salads, no snacks, stupidly nothing more. We were shocked
3) ordered khinkali, waiting for an HOUR. is this normal?
4) along with this, we ordered two more khachapuri and a barbecue. the kebab was brought quickly, khachapuri did not start cooking after an hour and a half, in the end we just canceled the dish, because we did not want to wait 1 hour again

Three stars are made up of 5 stars for the kitchen, and 1 star for everything else. All the items from the menu that we tried deserve the highest rating (with the exception of homemade lemonade, which consisted of packaged juice and mineral water, while it costs 18 GEL). At the same time, the waiters practically throw dishes on the table, forget the ordered items. As a "final surprise", we found extra positions in the receipt. As a result, we were pleasantly surprised by the kitchen, but we wanted to leave as soon as possible.
P.S. Be ready for +15% of the prices on the menu.

We visited this place on the recommendation of our guide, as the best place to eat khinkali. Reviews about sullen waiters, forgotten orders, etc., somewhat alarmed)) We ordered four types of khinkali, salad, lemonade and red wine. Everything was served on time, according to the order, and delicious. They didn't add anything extra to the bill either. We communicated in English, but one of the waiters answered the question in Russian without any problems. The prices are quite affordable.

I do not understand the enthusiastic reviews about this institution. The interior is gloomy. The service is terrible, not the waiters follow us, but we ran after them. They flit back and forth and past, although the landing was not complete. I wanted to get up and leave, but after listening to the recommendations, we decided that it was probably worth it, but alas! We waited for a long time when they came to take the order, the lemonade was brought, but the glasses were forgotten. They brought the wrong dish that they ordered. Khinkali waited a long time, turned out to be nothing special. They ate much better in other establishments in Georgia. Maybe it used to be the best in Tbilisi, but just the influx of visitors from Russia is not to blame that the institution has deteriorated. We just decided that tourists are already eating. One plus there were no queues, and another one was a waitress girl who spoke Russian.

Russian Russian is a very good restaurant, a pleasant atmosphere, the menu is duplicated in English and Russian, some waiters speak Russian. We took kharcho soup, spicy but delicious, the plate is very large. Khachapuri is delicious like everywhere else almost))
Caesar salad was also taken, it was brought on a huge plate, the portions are on average twice as large, that is, salads should definitely be taken for two. The price for Caesar is 15 lari, for khachapuri in Imeretian - 12 lari, kharcho soup cost 12 lari

That restaurant is definitely not worth going to. I came to Tbilisi, decided to come here, because my friends praised me. When we entered the restaurant, there was a queue for boarding, we waited for 10 minutes and we sat down at the table. There was little choice on the menu, there were no fried hinkals. We ordered regular kalakuri, the price is 1.5 GEL + 10% service fee, which is not at all budget-friendly compared to other places. And then the most interesting thing began, we waited for 40 minutes, tried to find out from the waiter when our khinkali would be brought, but no one came up to us, and an hour later we saw how other guys brought khinkali, which came much later than us. We got up and went to another place. For understanding, I live in Georgia and have never encountered such a thing.
It's better to choose another place.
