Excellent hotel, excellent service, clean rooms, Lived on the 23rd floor with a view of the mountains and the city-in the palm of your hand. The location is great - everything is within walking distance. Breakfast is a buffet, everyone will find for themselves, food to taste. The staff is friendly, we used the laundry service. We washed a pair of jeans, were ready in the morning, everything was done quickly and efficiently.

We were in July 2024, we lived on the 17th floor. This floor has been renovated, renovated in pleasant sand colors. The view was on the Kok Tobe! Perfect.
But for some reason, the problems with the drain barrel were solved promptly after the call.
The 16th floor is being renovated, during the day, if in the room, then the noise, of course, interferes. And how else to do the renovation, the guys try to work until 17 o'clock.
Breakfast in the restaurant is varied.
But, there are also many places nearby with more interesting cuisine for the same money.

The hotel is good. Decorated for the New Year holidays - gorgeous. The room is small, but quite cozy and has everything you need. The view from the 24th floor is wonderful! The bathroom is well equipped, although for complete comfort you can add a hygienic shower. But that's if you really find fault.
The staff is friendly, the breakfast is delicious and very varied. Of the minuses, perhaps, only one - they did not live there for long - it was too expensive for us! But we had fun! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

If you know that you need to take a more expensive room and on a certain floor, where repairs have just been made, then everything is fine! I knew about it from previous reviews. However, they still wanted to sell me the old one on the last one. But I asked calmly - and they gave me a new one. Either at 14 or 17. Breakfasts are cosmic! It takes 25 minutes to get to the airport in the morning. A great place to explore the city and take long walks. Which I took advantage of. I slept and rested after the flight and before the next one - great!

In general, it is very, very good. The best thing here is with room cleaning and meals. Breakfast, restaurant - very good. The building itself and the views from 20+ floors - it definitely makes sense to get this experience.
The location in the city is also good.
There is no gym, which is sad. I found the nearest place a couple of blocks from the hotel.
During my stay, repairs were underway on some floors, oddly enough, they did not interfere.
In general, the lack of a gym or a similar place to charge was the only downside for me personally. Otherwise, it's great

The most famous hotel in Almaty, but at the time of our stay, the end of 2023 was renovated. There were very old rooms on my floor, renovated from the Soviet era. But the good location and excellent breakfasts brightened up the stay. I think it will be incomparably better when the repairs are completed.

We were in the grand ballroom, which is located on the ground floor of the Kazakhstan hotel. Very impressive. Everything is so thought out and the ceiling height and ventilation and interior! The staff is friendly. A small assortment at breakfast, queues. You can't even take a fruit with you. As already mentioned, "tired" rooms and strange technical solutions. For example, in the photo, the cable coming out of the wall is plugged into an outlet. There is just a film inserted on the floor instead of glass, does the hotel have no money to insert glass? The noise from the roads is a typical problem of high floors. There is no gym. Both stairs from the first floor to the second floor, where breakfast takes place, are closed. The only way is to take the elevator, which often has to wait.
Beautiful view of the mountains. Convenient location, only in the evening you can't go anywhere because of 9.10-point traffic jams.

Great location. There are restoryns, cafes, shops all around. There is a funicular nearby. Gorgeous view from the windows from the upper floors.
I booked a standard room - old, but clean. Good price.
The rooms are spacious.
Room cleaning every day.
Water in the room every day is a liter bottle. Tea, kettle, etc. There is a refrigerator, but there is no minibar. The double bed is comfortable with a normal double mattress.
There is no shoe spoon. The trash can is the only one in the bathroom.
The ironing board is disgusting - it needs to be changed.
In general, I am satisfied. I'll come again.

I stayed here in January. In general, everything is fine. The entrance area was beautifully decorated in a New Year's way, it's even a pity that it was dismantled. The room is not big, but it fits, everything is basic, except for a shoe spoon. There were 4 pillows - two are too hard, and two are soft, as I like. From lack of income - poor noise insulation from the street, cars and horns can be heard, although he lived on the 22nd floor. One of the advantages is the location, everything can be quickly reached by taxi, and the Medeo is 25 minutes away. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby, but the prices will be slightly overpriced. In the hotel itself, on the 26th floor, there is a panoramic restaurant, with "a la haute cuisine", and the same prices, visitors are required to deposit but for guests without a deposit (keep in mind, they demanded from me and had to remind them). Everything is fine with cleaning - every day everything is as per the checklist)), we changed and reported. Instead of a lobby bar on the ground floor, there is a cafe-tea room, as well as two restaurants (one meat) and a beer bar, but there is no passage inside the hotel, only across the street.

The hotel is sooo old, the audibility is 100%. The usual breakfasts are sometimes warm, sometimes cold at 7 a.m. (apparently they were cooked a day ago).
Who goes in the middle of June, attention!! On June 16, near the hotel in OTKRITIE Park. the music BEATS until 5 a.m. from 22.00. And so it goes on for several days for sure. It is impossible to sleep, the music is just like in the room, although I lived on the top floor. All requests at the reception to move at least to the other side are useless. Complaints about the music were received from ALL the guests of the hotel, there was no reaction. In addition, the room cleaning was once and disgusting, all the garbage and dirty glasses were on the table, the sheets were just thrown on the bed, something was added to the water when leaving (severe poisoning). Think about choosing a place to relax during business trips.

The building of the original architecture, despite the Soviet past, fits perfectly into modern Almaty. A luxurious lobby, lots of elevators, rooms without frills, but with high ceilings and airy. The hotel offers wonderful views. From the restaurant there is an overview of the surroundings, around the city, on the other hand-the foothills.

The hotel is undergoing renovation of the room stock. And it's a big roulette whether you're lucky. In September, I got a room with a new renovation, but the next room was undergoing repairs, songs of workers and other construction noise. After a request at the reception, another room was provided an hour later. In November, when checking in, I asked if there were any repairs next to the room. The room was given on the 25th floor right under the karaoke bar). In a few nights, I remembered a lot of songs I had forgotten.
And so, the room cleaning is excellent, the breakfasts are delicious.

A standard room was booked.In fact, they gave us an economy room, which we accidentally found out about when we went to complain about a cold room in the late afternoon. In general, the stated numbers do not match the booking photos. And there are many questions about the questionable work of the reception staff.

Nice hotel. The ideal location in the city center. Although I stayed in the most ordinary budget room, it was quite spacious and the view from the window opened onto the mountains. We go up to our floor - hello USSR, there is carpet in the room itself, it is stained, the smell in the room is musty, I had to open the window. There is no hood in the shower. Well, the bed is normal, I slept well. Because of this, I did not get to breakfast, they said that the breakfast was great.
