Only with fruit is weak - watermelon and melon as from pyaterochka in December, apples, oranges and grapefruits are normal. And, strangely, they never gave dates, although everywhere they just crumbled from the trees. The beach is good, sun beds, towels, umbrellas - everything is there. The port opposite the beach is about three kilometers away, such a thing, of course. You can watch the ships half the length of the horizon. Interesting. But also garbage, a little, but brought from these ships. Oil was not noticed, we were lucky. In terms of service, I'm not picky, everything seems to be normal. If you don't have everything included, then something with drinking water and drinks is difficult there. Find out from the tour operator right away. I've seen tourists dragging five liters of water from the supermarket in the heat. If everything is included, then there are no problems. Among the attractions are a waterfall, an amphitheater and an embankment (3 km of beauty, when the repairs are finished). Maybe there is something else, but if you go in July, then the heat is such that the main attraction and wonderfully wonderful is the air conditioning in the room. Did you like it there? Yes, quite. Will I go there again? Perhaps not.

- let's omit the fact that the whole hotel needs cosmetic repairs, which is why it is not expensive
- there is no room service at all, you should always ask to change towels, bring paper, soap.

- the food is the same every day with a clear lack of variety and a great focus on pan-Asian cuisine, everything is either overcooked or in sweet chili sauce…
- we paid at the travel agency "soft all inclusive", that is, there is no alcohol, but all used drinks are included, although for breakfast only instant coffee or tea from an economy class bag, and at lunch you will steam up waiting for juice or soda from the waiter, the second place where you can drink during the day is The pool bar is open from 10 to 19. After 21-00 horseradish where to get a drink. By the way, you also had to ask for water in the room at the reception 🤦🏻♂️
- the hotel staff is clearly working without enthusiasm and reluctantly, this has not been noticed in other hotels in the UAE (though in Dubai)

- local porters are constantly trying to help with taxis by calling their friends, instead of simply ordering a regular state taxi, they had to go outside the territory to the KFS or gas station and ask local workers to order a car that is 2 times cheaper than a taxi from the hotel staff 🤷🏻

It takes 2-2.5 hours to drive from the airport, but we were ready for this.

The first and main disadvantage is the construction site, which is right on the beach. A huge complex is being built. With gusts of wind, pieces of foam, films, and concrete dust fly to the beach and into the sea. Punchers, taps are working, something is constantly knocking. Imagine yourself in the country, when a neighbor hits an iron fence with a hammer during the day. I couldn't doze off once on the beach. The noise of the sea is not heard. The second disadvantage is the lack of sun beds. You need to take a place under an umbrella at 7 a.m., otherwise you will be lying in the scorching sun. The third drawback is that the windows in the room do not open at all, the air conditioner is constantly working, there are no balconies. The hotel is located on the shore, it's not hot at night and it would be nice to listen to the surf. In addition, swimsuits dry very badly. The food is average. The breakfast is standard, with fruits - watermelon and oranges. Dinner, you definitely won't get poisoned, everything is sound, but monotonous. The same set. At least once in 9 days, something new. The fruits are the same. The sea is good in depth and length where it is allowed to swim, sand, with a smooth approach. But it is periodically dirty, because in addition to the construction site, there is a large port 2 km opposite and from there it carries both packages and garbage. It is convenient for children -playgrounds, 2 swimming pools. To consolidate negative impressions, we were brought to the airport 6 hours before departure, we saved money on the transfer and combined with tourists departing 3 hours earlier. The beach: clean, in many reviews I read about oil stains coming from the port, but for 12 days we didn't meet any; at night there are a lot of crabs on the shore, the beach is swarming with them, and during the day they hide under rocks.Swimming pool: lots of ants on the sun beds under the palm trees; beach towels are given out by the pool. Territory: small territory, across the street from the hotel, if you go to the left there is an artificial waterfall with lighting, an amphitheater; 20 min. from the hotel there is a supermarket Safir, a good store with normal prices, where they sell souvenirs, clothes, and groceries. The hotel is located on the territory of the Emirate of Sharjah, so there is no alcohol anywhere, you can take a taxi (20 minutes) to the neighboring Fujairah and buy there, or stock up in duty free.
Transfer from Dubai airport - 4!!!!! hours, this is, of course, hell!!! I would have returned to this hotel if the transfer wasn't so long!

We liked the hotel. The biggest plus is the beach and the Gulf of Oman. We were going for a beach holiday with children and all our expectations were met. Gentle entrance, warm water, a separate area for snorkeling. Do not expect a super wow effect from the underwater world, we have seen more picturesque places in other countries, but for a change, you can and should swim with a mask. But I saw a turtle almost near the shore. There was never any oil, the water was perfectly clean all the time of our rest. We were given a room with a category higher than the reserved one - two-room. Keep in mind that children under 6 years old stay free of charge at the hotel and there is no separate sleeping place for them. We asked for extra bed linen and placed the child on the sofa in the second room. It does not unfold, but its length was enough for a child, for an adult as a sleeping place, of course, it will not fit. All issues were resolved quickly and politely. I recommend taking all inclusive meals at this hotel. There is only a KFS and a pizzeria nearby. The nearest Lebanese restaurant is a 15-20 minute walk along the sidewalks under construction. The minimarket is even further away. In the hotel restaurant, the choice was not huge, but everything was delicious and did not bother. There is no alcohol anywhere in Khorfakkan. It didn't matter to us. If this is a matter of principle for you, then either bring it with you, or choose less conservative emirates. In general, we were satisfied with the Ocean. I recommend the hotel for a beach holiday, especially with children.

In general, I liked the rest, but I will not put a 5k to this hotel. We rested here for a week, me, my husband and two children (1 year and 4 years).
What didn't you like:
-The attitude of the staff at the reception. We were moved into a room next to which the bathroom was being renovated, it smelled very much like either sealant or paint, I immediately had a headache, not to mention that children should not breathe anything like that at all. . At first, they did not respond to my appeal in any way, like after 2 hours they will finish the repair, the smell will pass. But we still insisted that we be moved to another floor, because the chemical smell was on the whole floor. It took 40 minutes for all this to go back and forth with the children, in general, they could have raised the room category for inconvenience, as they do in decent hotels, well, okay, they moved and thank you for that. But the impression was spoiled.
- we had a rest in May 2023, there was a construction site nearby, there was noise and rumbling from time to time.
-the port does not decorate the view at all
-the territory of the hotel is quite small, there is not much place to walk.
Now to the pros:
+ Awesome children's room! Just because of this, I am ready to return to this hotel with the children. The girls of the employee give their best, the older child could be left, he played with the guys, there were also creative tasks - then drawing, then origami, then cookies were cooked. The only negative, the children still caught the virus, because some unscrupulous parents gave snotty children to the nursery (before that we changed 4 hotels, there were no children's rooms, there were no close contacts with children, everyone was healthy. So this point should be taken into account, it's like a kindergarten).
+daily snorkeling with turtles! Finally I saw them) and they live there constantly, i.e. 100% chance of meeting them))) at least I had it like that, I saw it every day, I even touched it 1 time. They swim in the left part of the beach, near the rocks. Well, a huge number of fish) also once met 2 squid.
+ awesome shower gels, shampoos and lotions Loxitan!
Now I understand that there are more minuses)) but the pros are more significant, so it's still 4 stars.

We rested for five days in May 2024.
I liked it! Justifies its 4 stars:
1. a large time range for eating breakfast, lunch and dinner, all guests have time to eat without pandemonium.
2. Very well maintained territory, although small. They give you beach towels, even several times a day. The staff is friendly. They know Russian words. Although they communicate mainly in English.
3. We had wi-fi in our room on the 1st floor. We watched movies. But the view from the room is certainly better from the upper floors.
4. In the evening, you can take a walk in the city along the embankment. Admire the amphitheater, the waterfall. If we had known that there was a park with fountains, we would have taken a taxi there, unfortunately, we saw it only from the window of the transfer bus on the way to the airport.
5. Not far from the hotel near the gas station there is a shop where you can buy ice cream, water and delicious mango. They accept Union Pay cards there. We walked to the Al Safeer centre supermarket (it's further than the waterfall, the alley behind the bank is about 25 minutes from the hotel)- there is everything there, shoes, souvenirs and groceries. We bought dates for the promotion 3 at the price of 2. Much cheaper than in Duty free. We arrived back to the hotel by taxi for 10 dirhams.
6. The sea is warm +26 + 29. One of the days there was an influx of green algae – almost no one was swimming, the water was green, the people were having a great rest in the pool. However, there were not enough deck chairs.
7. A very high-quality massage at the rooftop SPA. I liked the massage therapist Leia. I took 3 Thai massages, the 4th was given as a gift. I paid $105 for everything. They make discounts.
8. The sauna is small for 1-2 people. Is free. They give you a towel. There is a hammam, also for 2-3 people.
9. The gym is free. It is small for 8 trainers (2 tracks, 2 large, there are dumbbells, hyperextension). A very beautiful view of the sea opens from the gym.
10. Behind the buoys, they swim with masks closer to the cape. There you can see many different fish and turtles. Crabs live in the rocks
Of the cons:
1. It was news to me that tea is served packaged and coffee too. For coffee lovers, this is bad news. Coffee is only instant in bags, coffee is bitter bitter in the lobby of the cafe for 20 dirhams, coffee is not sold at all in the nearest KFC and pizzeria. I'll take the drip bags with me next time.
2. There is a construction site nearby. I hardly heard the sound of the sea over the sounds of construction. Garbage from the construction site flies into the sea: packages, pieces of wood, stones of construction debris. Beach workers periodically remove all this from the shore, but do not pull it out of the water until it washes up to the shore. But the water is clear!
3. the old room stock, the wallpaper is stained in places. The TV was not working in Our room, or rather it was constantly breaking down. Swimsuits do not dry out in the room.
4. There was no daily cleaning. They came to clean up late, closer to 18 o'clock, we refused. They took water and changed towels.

There is a large, LARGE construction site nearby: noise (you can't hear the sea), dust, debris (on the sand, in the water, everywhere), flies. Sometimes oil stains (fuel oil?) from the port. Cigarette butts are found in the sand.
There are few sun loungers on the beach: the beach opens at 07:00, at 07:05 everyone is busy (but the beach is empty, the Russian tourists went for breakfast / walk / excursion). Sometimes there are fights over deck chairs - the hotel security intervenes.
You can relax by the pool (there is no noise and dirt of the construction site, but there is no sea either).

Tired furniture: oblique, crooked, stripped. There is no mini bar. Sometimes there is no hot water.

Especially happy when you refuse to clean the room))) The pool is nice. But it seems to me that the water in it is chlorinated, and not sea water as it was in our other hotels. We don't go to the pool on vacation, we have enough of it at home. For those who want diving, massage, gym and hammam.
Wi-Fi does not work everywhere. Some say that there is no Internet in the room, you have to go down to the reception. We are lucky, we have otlino in our room. But on the beach it is very weak and constantly disappears.
Nutrition is generally some kind of tin.
all 14 days are the same. We only had breakfast. And these are oatmeal porridge, sausages, boiled eggs, beans in tomatoes, baked tomatoes. Spaghetti that looks like someone has already chewed with giant chunks of onions, peppers and carrots. And rice with the same vegetables, fresh wooden tomatoes, tasteless cucumbers and overgrown lettuce. Croissant without filling, two types of cupcakes.
Of the fruits, only oranges and watermelon, all cut into pieces. And grapes for lunch, not twigs, but a bunch of berries. Lunch is about the same, only more pieces of fillet of incomprehensible and tasteless fish. That's it!!! And it's the same thing every day.
We saved KFC, Pizza Hut and hamburger shop which are located across the street. There is also a cafe in the hotel, but we did not go there.
After all, a vacation in this city and this hotel is suitable for those who just want to lie down and not go anywhere. As someone wrote in the reviews: a hotel for children and pensioners.
A nice promenade for walking. There are almost no attractions, in other respects, as in all Emirates (except Abu Dhabi and Dubai). Although more than in Ajman)
The nearest shops are one and a half or two kilometers away. .
We went to Fujairah to the shops by taxi, but it's expensive. And there doesn't seem to be any other transport here. In other Emirates, we used public transport more often, it is very convenient, fast and inexpensive.
We always and everywhere go to the fish market where you can choose fish and it will be cooked immediately. This is also done at the local market, but we did not find anything interesting for ourselves.
I would like to say separately about the construction site. A large hotel is being built nearby. They are hammering, sawing, yelling from 7.30 am until late at night. Without days off and breaks. It's a little quieter on Sunday. Sometimes the crane hovers right over the beach. After an hour or two, my head starts to hurt. Fortunately, our room windows overlook the other side and you can't hear the construction site when you are in the room.
Another disadvantage is a children's camp for locals, which is organized right on the beach. Sometimes more or less, and for a few days it was simply impossible. 6 groups of 20-30 children and all yelling, screaming. I had to leave the beach earlier than usual.
There is also an employee on the beach who starts yelling if you move the chaise longue from its place. Everything should stand the way he set it. He yells, asks for the room number, waves his hands. He also starts folding umbrellas and tidying up sun loungers, even if someone's things are lying there. I've been bugging everyone throughout our vacation. They often write about him in reviews.
On the day of departure, we wanted to pay extra and stay in the room until the evening (we always do this everywhere). Since they are evicted from the rooms at 12.00, and they are taken to the airport at 18.00. They didn't agree, even for money. They said they were waiting for tourists. As a result, no one came all day, there were a maximum of 27 people on the beach (I was not too lazy to count)) And they literally survived from the room. While we were walking, we lowered large suitcases to the bottom, our locks were blocked (at exactly 12.00 and do whatever you want). Let's go to the reception to open the door. And the girl stood and waited until we took the remaining things and left.
Well, in general, it's like that.
Two weeks in this place is too long. Although I believe that it is necessary to rest at the sea for at least 10 days. 7 would be enough here. In general, I wanted to go home on the third day)
We're not coming here anymore. And I didn't like the city and the hotel.

We were in November. We arrived at the hotel late in the evening, but managed to have dinner. We were given a room with a sea view instead of a mountain view, thank you very much. The room is very cozy, the window is panoramic, although it does not open and it is certainly annoying. The plumbing is all new, the towels are snow-white. Yes, they can all be taken away during cleaning, but we put one in the closet, it's calmer this way. The food suited us perfectly. 0.5 water was brought to us daily in 2 bottles. Yes, sun beds with an umbrella should be occupied early, but even by 12 in the morning you can find them. There are a lot of beach towels and they are in good condition. The water in the sea was warm, about + 28, there was no rain, the air temperature was +31, very comfortable, there was no wind. We took only a week of rest and relaxation and I really liked it, I was even too lazy to look for any flaws. The hotel staff are friendly, all our requests were fulfilled quickly. In the evening, you can walk along the embankment. The solid Four hotel has left pleasant memories. But it's hard to say what will happen there in a year. A huge building is being built nearby, there is a suspicion that relaxation will be disrupted. I don't even understand how such a thing could come to mind to cram such a huge thing into a narrow space. That's where the human will be.

I had a rest in this hotel alone, from February 14 to February 24, 2023. I am very happy with my vacation!
The plane arrived on time (8-05), although they took off from St. Petersburg 40 minutes late. Customs and baggage collection did not take much time, then the gathering of the group, accommodation on buses and at 9-30 we were already taken to hotels. We were driven by 8 people, with a check-in at two hotels, mine was the third, the farthest and brought me to the Oceanic Khorfakkan Resort & Spa hotel, around 12 o'clock in the afternoon.
The receptionist greeted me at the reception hospitably, with a smile on her face, (as it should be), which was very nice. Registration was quick, they asked to wait, because check-in at the hotel after 15-00. But after 10 minutes I was given a room key, an information letter, and bellboy escorted me to my room, delivered my luggage, showed me where it was (the hair dryer in this hotel is in the desk drawer) and wished me a pleasant stay, left.
Everything went quickly, which was very nice, because at 12-10 I was already in my room and started enjoying my vacation!
The room is large with a view of the city, mountains, mosque, sports complex, football field, KFC ..., but all this is far away and absolutely does not interfere with rest. The room has a double bed, two bedside tables, two armchairs, a coffee table, a chair, a desk, a flat-screen TV, a wardrobe with a safe (free of charge), slippers, toiletries, a kettle, coffee, tea, sugar, two bottles of water and 7 towels. Everything was changed (towels) and replenished (water, coffee, sugar, tea) daily, there was a change of pastel linen once during my 10-day rest, but this is quite enough for me alone, because on vacation, it seems to me, a person takes a shower much more often than in everyday life and plus swimming in the sea!!!
Food, I had breakfast and dinner, I liked it, everything is delicious, fresh, not spicy and everything is enough. Meat, chicken, fish, seafood daily, there is plenty to choose from. Many in the reviews complain about the monotony, I disagree!!! If you eat the same thing every day, then of course it's monotonous, and if you try something new every day, then nothing will happen again in 10 days of rest, especially since the dishes have changed! (I think there's so much at home, no one cooks or eats!) In the restaurant, the waiter offers tea or coffee for breakfast, water is poured for dinner in the evening, there is no alcohol in this hotel, because this emirate is non-alcoholic. For my compatriots (perhaps those who rested will read or for future vacationers), I want to write that it is extremely unpleasant to see women (middle-aged and far from slender) in swimsuits in the hotel building, men in stretched T-shirts and knitted short, shabby shorts, from which everything falls out, as well as young girls in the restaurant at breakfast. in a restaurant at dinner, in the same short beach shorts ... I think this is disrespect for others and an absolute misunderstanding of how a person should look in a public place, what rules of decency and forms of clothing should be observed!!!
The beach at the hotel is its own, sandy, with a smooth approach, clear water! There were enough sun beds for everyone on the beach and by the pool! It was not very pleasant to see the "busy" sun beds from the very morning, which stood for 2-4 hours free from vacationers ... a purely Russian approach, we will take it in the morning, and we will come when it turns out. Towels for the beach and pool are issued on the right, when leaving the hotel, in a specially equipped gazebo and upon returning from rest, they are also folded into a container for dirty laundry, you can not take them with you to the room, and you don't need to. The guest rooms are located on six floors, with three elevators, one of which is a view of the sea. It was very interesting to go up to my room on the 6th floor and admire the sea.
On the ground floor of the hotel there are recreation areas and cafes, on the upper 7 and 8 there is a SPA area, a gym, a meeting room.
I was very pleased with the hospitality and work of the staff, both at the reception and in the restaurant! Although it is difficult to communicate without knowing English, but with a translator on the phone everything is possible, almost no one speaks Russian in the hotel, but this is not problematic.
As I have already said, I rested alone and walked around the city (not far away) also alone, absolutely safe both in the afternoon and in the evening. There is something to see, from local attractions, a waterfall and an amphitheater, visit a couple of local shops, further along the embankment there is a market with fruits and seafood.
At the meeting with the hotel guide, I bought two excursions, a sightseeing tour to Dubai and an excursion to Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE, with a visit to the presidential palace and the Sheikh Zayed Mosque. I really liked it and I calmly reacted both to the rapid movements from one attraction to another, in a busy program in Dubai, and a long move, about 5-6 hours to the most remote emirate from us, Abu Dhabi! Very interesting and beautiful! Although there were dissatisfied, someone did not like that everyone was running, running is Dubai, and someone that it is long and hard to go by bus is Abu Dhabi! There were tourists who, wanting to get to their hotel in Fujairah as soon as possible after an excursion from Abu Dhabi, ordered a taxi and went for 500 dirhams. I was ready for everything and perfectly understood that I myself alone, I would not be able to drive and see so many beautiful places and sights! The cost of excursions includes travel, accompanying and telling the guide, paying for visits to attractions, lunch at a restaurant, there is air conditioning and water in the bus, I advise everyone these two excursions!
Summing up, I can say that I am very happy with my stay at this hotel and in this rich, beautiful, hospitable country, the UAE!
Most importantly, he is optimistic about everything and does not compare with other countries and hotels where you have been before! They are all individual, like each of us!

P.S. I read earlier in a review that bedside lamps do not work alone, if someone wants to read, and someone decided to go to bed, so ... everything works fine as two together, and apart one by one , and also in each lamp you can use two bulbs together and apart.

We rested together in February 23, the sea is clean, sometimes there are turtles, there is a beach on the territory of the hotel, We were fed with dignity, without frills, but delicious. Sometimes there were queues at the restaurant, but it didn't bother us. In general, I liked everything, I would go again.
