Central location, lots of cafes, but very expensive! The touts will chat anyone up, but in the end there is no taste or charm! They asked for whole shrimps and served tasteless unfrozen tails!!!

East and West is an iconic place! There are a lot of Fishermen on the bridge. They catch Small fish, and then cook them under the bridge and sell them right there.

The bridge has 2 floors: at the top there is a roadway and a sidewalk on both sides of the bridge, at the bottom there are restaurants on both sides. You can sit (quite reasonable prices) and admire the views of the Golden Horn or the Bosphorus Strait
