Conveniently located, it can be immediately combined with the National Gallery. A good collection of ancient artifacts, it is better of course to watch with a guided tour so as not to miss something interesting. Temporary exhibitions are also held.

A museum is like a museum. Historical. But without any originality or something. Classic, that's the right word for it. I still love a museum with a twist, a soul. It's purely classic here. You cannot enter without a guided tour. Guided tours are conducted in sessions in different languages. We still need to get into our language. The group, as I understand it, will be recruited anyway.

The museum is a big and interesting one, it has been opening up so many moments of history since the most ancient times. We didn't have enough audio guide at least, but there was very little time left before closing. Unfortunately, there are no inscriptions in Russian, only Armenian and English

The museum is great, but if you know English, then super-super, because the signatures under the exhibits are in Armenian and in English. But you can take a tour in Russian.

Very interesting. Different themes on different floors. It's a pity they were too lazy to add the signs in Russian.

Strangely, the Armenian History Museum has a minimum of Armenian history. We were upset by the visit. It is not recommended to visit

The museum is cool, with a lot of antiquities. I was upset by the blackout, so I had to come the next day. There are unique exhibits that are found only here.

Diana is an excellent guide, an hour and a half flew by unnoticed, it would be possible to continue listening. A wonderful exposition, the carpet exhibition is impressive. On a rainy day, the museum turned out to be very appropriate.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to Roland for his interesting presentation of the history of Armenia. During the tour, we were able to look at the historical facts that we already know from a new perspective. It was a fascinating journey through the corridors of time with a fantastically exciting presentation of the material. Thanks to our guide, we were imbued with deep respect for the proud and steadfast Armenian people, who are able to survive difficult times and carry the love of their native land in their hearts through the centuries. We wish the museum prosperity and replenishment of the collection with new historical materials. I wish the employees good health and a peaceful sky over their heads. Three enthusiastic travelers from St. Petersburg

My first visit to the History Museum won my heart. The hall with decorations and carpets made a great impression! My soul rested looking at the handmade patterns. The designers of the expositions worked very well. Easy navigation, lots of light.

An interesting collection, although unfortunately only archaeology, so the name does not really correspond to the concept of the exhibition. But the art gallery is wonderful, especially Aivazovsky

One of the best museums I've ever been to. The detailed and interesting history of Armenia from ancient times. There are interactive items. It's a pity that there are no high-quality souvenirs.

One of the best museums in terms of layout and saturation. The staff is very polite and helpful. An additional plus is an art gallery and an exhibition of copies of frescoes from the 4th - 13th century. Below you can buy replicas of jewelry displayed in the museum))

The museum is generally interesting, but there are no descriptions of the exhibits in Russian. Only Armenian and English are available. We understand what this means. And the sediment also remained. That's how the whole country tries to drive on square wheels.

A good, interesting museum. The cost is 2500 drams. The main disadvantage is that there is little information on the information stands themselves. Just walking around not understanding to look at the exhibits-yes. Otherwise, you need to take a guide. Repairs are currently underway, some of the exhibits are unavailable, the air conditioning in the building is also not working, it is insanely stuffy and hot. The history of Armenia is very difficult, there was a lot of blood and wars in it, I would like to learn more about this, which could not be done. There are enough exhibits, there is a photo exhibition, I recommend visiting the museum

The museum has spoiled the impressions of Yerevan. All exhibits can be found in every museum of the history of any country, there is not a single inscription in Russian. For 7500 drams per person, you will get a tired guide who will try to remember Russian words twice as long as the stated time. If you do not mind your time and money, in no case do not buy a tour, walk around the halls and then get more information.

The more modern stages of history are sorely lacking. Beyond antiquity, there is nothing. The USSR was particularly interested in the stage. There is very little information in Russian

I liked the exposition dedicated to the history of the development of Armenia as a state. It is clear that Armenians love and appreciate their historical past, cherish artifacts found in different parts of this country. It is a little difficult for Russian-speaking tourists to understand, there are no signs in Russian at all.

Probably a very extensive exposition. But during our visit, only 3 halls were open, the rest are under renovation. And at the same time, it was VERY stuffy inside: the air conditioners did not work or there were none, and the fans could not cope with the street heat multiplied by the visitors. It's a pity, but all this together did not allow us to fully enjoy the museum

What kind of nonsense are you writing about the Russian language? Shame and disrespect. Have you seen a lot of signatures in Armenian in museums in Russia? I raise my rating, the souvenir shop is wonderful, I recommend it, I hope to visit the museum itself next time, even if one of the 20 halls is open!

There is no ramp for strollers and reading in English is probably not as convenient as in Russian either ) Therefore , the impressions of the museum were the worst . There is no audio guide either. You can't book a tour in Russian either. In short, minimal customer orientation

I liked the museum, but the legends (captions) to the exhibits are in Armenian and in English. It's funny because when I was at the museum there weren't many Armenians there at all, and only 1 Frenchman, the rest were Russian-speaking

A wonderful museum. I don't understand the outrage or the comments that everything is in Armenian and English. I recently visited the Louvre Abu Dhabi, everything is in Arabic and English. And underestimate the mark because of this? You understand that you are going to an independent state with your own language. Against the background of what is happening in the world, it is strange that people are surprised by the absence of Russian. Although it should not be in Armenian museums without politics. The reality is that the Russian language can only be found in Russian museums. I really like the ceiling height here. In general, Armenian museums lack an innovative approach and interactivity. For me, souvenirs are boring, outdated. I sincerely wish the museum to reconsider its style of work.
