I had a rest at the Inter-Sukhum Hotel in September 2022. The advantage of the hotel is its location. Within walking distance of the sea, the embankment, cafes, shops, market.
The hotel itself is not bad, but needs renovation. There is a swimming pool on site. The rooms are small, there is a refrigerator, a TV. The only negative for me is the lighting in the room. Even after turning on all the lighting fixtures, the room is dark.
Breakfast was included in my accommodation, but if desired, you can choose 3 meals a day. It is possible to pay for meals already at the hotel. The choice of dishes is not great, but I did not stay hungry. Apples are made from fruits. Instant coffee, no milk.
There are coolers with drinking water on each floor.
The entire hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Thank you all very much!

The rooms are clean and tidy, but the bathroom needs to be renovated and modern plumbing installed, otherwise the taps are not neat as in the Soviet Union.
The staff is friendly.
The room is cleaned, towels are changed.
There is a carafe with glasses, you can collect drinking water in a cooler on the floor.
In the dining room, homemade food is prepared.
Three meals a day. Portions are not limited. The choice of dishes is sufficient.
Thanks to the staff.
I liked the location of the hotel: everything is within walking distance.
We attended events with my husband on 07.11.24, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Abkhazian basketball.

Recently we were a tour group in Abkhazia and stayed at this hotel. I really liked the bright, clean, everything is new and modern, air conditioning, smart TV.The food was delicious and enough. The hotel is next to the sea. We plan to come to you again.

On July 23, we stayed at the inter-Sukhum hotel and did not regret our choice. Incredible views from the open balcony. A beautiful, spacious pool with enough space for everyone!
The food in the dining room is very tasty, hearty, and varied. They have never been poisoned. We do not recommend taking boiling water in the dining room, there will be a large sediment in the mug!
It takes 1 minute to walk to the sea, there are many places in the vicinity where you can have lunch or dinner if you haven't paid at the hotel (one of these is a piece of wood, ask the locals they will tell you the way, you won't regret it)
The room is not too spacious. In the center there is a large 2-bedroom bed, an additional cot. Of course, it is comfortable to sleep on it, but it creaks very much.
There are coolers with hot and cold water on the floors.
It's pretty bad about the Internet here. In our room, it was caught only at the door and behind it, on the common balcony.
Nearby there are bus stops from which you can get to the main sights of the city (monkey nursery, botanical garden, Freedom Square, etc.) the fare is 15 rubles.
In general, the impression was good. Everything is clean, neat, we recommend it!

Former air defense sanatorium, one of the elite health resorts (was)
Now it is being restored, repaired, it turns out very beautifully.
It stands on the first line, literally 300 meters to a well-groomed, beautiful embankment.
Everything is great, but....a dirty sea, BECAUSE there is a not very picturesque river nearby-a drain and all the water flows into the sea.It is a very beautiful park, if you do not pay attention to the ruins of buildings that have not yet been repaired.There is an outdoor swimming pool, there are rods around.
It is very convenient if you have time to take a sunbed in the morning.
The most wonderful thing about this sanatorium (or hotel) so this is the location.

We had a rest in November 2022. I really liked the hotel.It's all clear. The staff is very excellent. The dining room is very clean. There were breakfasts and dinners. The food is homemade. No frills, but delicious. The sea is nearby. In November, I even had to swim in the sea and sunbathe. Cool heated pool. My husband and I love Abkhazia. We are going to inter Sukhum on September 30... We are looking forward to a trip to the land of the soul.

We had a vacation with my wife in September at this hotel.
One of the advantages is its convenient location, just 1 km from the city center, 100 meters from the sea,there are many cafes with delicious barbecue and wine near the hotel,all the hotel staff are very hospitable,the rooms are clean ,cleaned every day if you hang a sign,there is uninterrupted hot water from the boiler,mattresses can be connected with a topper on request, if you have separate beds.The TV catches 200 channels.There is free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.If you are lucky like us and you will be on the 6th floor, you will have a wonderful view of the mountains.
Of the disadvantages, the photos on the hotel's website have nothing to do with reality, the room stock is much older and actually looks 1,000,000 times worse than in the photo.The same story with the buffet, it is meager, poor, absolutely insipid and tasteless.Do not take a half-board, you will be very disappointed in the quality and choice of dishes.I give 2 stars out of 5 for the food.In my opinion, I would look at other hotels and it would be better to be more expensive if I had the choice to go to Sukhum again.

Nice hotel. The location is quite convenient. It is 50 meters to the sea, near the city market.

I really liked it, we were in July 2024. And the food, and the room, and the cleaning, and the pool are all fine.
We took dinner and breakfast buffet, the choice is not great, but everything is delicious at home. If we went on an excursion in the evening, we had no problems rescheduling dinner for lunch.
The pool is open until 23.00, in the evening they turn on the backlight, it's generally beautiful.
The beach is 100 meters away.
The only negative is that we were bitten by mosquitoes in the room, but I do not lower the rating for this.

The hotel is very tired.Location,spacious room and relatively large balcony.These are all advantages.Then everything is sad.The rooms are dead, there is a dent in the door, the shower barely breathes when you turn on the water, the faucet hums as if the neighbors are doing repairs and turned on the puncher.There is no towel rail, there are no bathrobes for going to the pool.You need to bow to the elevator, otherwise it presses down on the door while you enter it. Solid 5 for its category: comfortable rooms, towels, shampoos. There are no bathrobes and beach towels, keep in mind.
The breakfasts are natural, delicious, and lively. They are so high-quality that the Turkish variety does not require a soul.
Heated swimming pool and toilet on site. Three pines walk to the sea, as they say. There are convenient stairs to go to the beach.
A wonderful promenade for walking.
On the right is excellent coffee and homemade wine in an outdoor cafe with blue Pepsi umbrellas.
And the price is generally amazing: 5 rubles in May 2024 for two (!)

You just don't need to come here-that's the whole review.
1. Everything was killed in standard rooms, as if the demob was celebrated. I've been through a few. Dirty- on the ceiling, tulle-traces of mosquitoes that were beaten, mold in and lack of platbands in the bathtub. The toilet paper is grey-I didn't even know that it was still for sale! It is very unpleasant to be there.
2. I do not recommend eating breakfast-the nipples are overcooked, the casserole is lumpy, everything is tasteless.
3. Weddings are constantly taking place in the hotel- this makes it impossible to sleep in silence, and in the morning everything around the entrance is, sorry, covered in vomit, and is not cleaned.
4. Neighbors saw a live cockroach.
5. If there is no wedding, you will wake up so early in the morning from loud dialogues of the maids who came to clean.
6. Even the information from the Wi-Fi password is irrelevant-there is a new one only at the reception. The room is not working. And there is no phone in the room. You can only find out by going down.
They took it without choosing, at the right moment. I was very unpleasantly surprised. They say there are suites and everything is different there, but for this price there are hotels in the development.

From July 27- August 2, I had a vacation in Abkhazia. The choice was great for hotels. But I decided to stop at Inter-Sukhum. The sea is just a stone's throw away, the urban structure suits me just fine. I'm resting for the second time. And as always, everything was at the highest level. The room is clean, there is everything you need for a comfortable stay, the staff is polite, the rooms are cleaned on demand, towels are changed, there are coolers with hot and cold water on the floors, there is a room where you can iron things, the kitchen is delicious at home, buffet. But if you add a variety of fruits and add a little variety to breakfast (more pastries), and for dinner you can also offer juices, then you can even rise to the level of Turkish hotels. The hotel has a swimming pool, which pleases not only kids, but also adults who do not always want to go to the sea. He lived here at the end of May 2024. Room 304. The room is gorgeous, bed linen is changed, towels seem to be every day. It is possible to use a washing machine and an iron. There is a cooler on each floor. The kitchen is great. Daily room cleaning. There is a table and chairs on the balcony. Two elevators. The staff is polite, adequate, and always ready to help. The pool is 17m, the water is clean. Every day, an employee cleans it, changes filters and refills chemicals. You can not only swim, but also swim. I didn't notice any time limits. The disadvantage is the high temperature, it is difficult to swim more than 500m. It feels like 28-30°. Today, young locals come to swim and rage, which is why they do it in outerwear and do not take a shower before visiting. Nearby there are shops, the central market, the beach, the Embankment and bus and trolleybus stops. I recommend.

We had a rest with my husband, I will not put any assessment, I will just write the pros and cons of this hotel!
Positive:
-location, close to a lot of infrastructure, 2 minutes walk to the sea, very convenient
-the food in the dining room is delicious and satisfying, but I would like to have more choice of drinks (there was only tea with precipitation, milk and water), there is also a small selection of food, especially for breakfast, there are no fruits, only watermelon every morning
-the room is nice, spacious and cozy, there is a TV with Internet, a large bed, a balcony)
-there is an ironing room, washing machines (for an additional 200 rubles)
Minuses:
-the most important and fat minus, because of which we will not return here, is the complete lack of sound insulation between the room and the corridor, every day from 8 a.m. until late at night you can hear every rustle, whisper, etc.; the maids clean every day throughout the day, yell in Abkhazian among themselves, call their friends on video and they talk on the radio right under the numbers, we eventually bought earplugs, but it only helped at night, daytime sleep was ruined many times
-there is no safe, no slippers, initially there was one large, small and medium towel, then they asked for another for the second person
-various insects are smeared on the walls
-the sockets are terrible, only in front of the bed, where the TV, refrigerator and modem are turned on, something has to be turned off to put the phone on charge

I adequately declare that you will fall into the disgrace and hateful views of the grandmothers-workers. Brusque, disrespectful. I wanted to take a towel from the hanger, I just touched it, it collapsed on the floor. Dust, bad, long-standing cleaning. There's a piece of decomposed soap on the floor in the shower behind the door, probably from last year.The pool is closed for the weekend, as there is a banquet hall, a million people cook meat in vats by the pool, crowds of men hang out, walk past the pool from the vats to the hall, so, apparently, they close the pool so that they do not contemplate bathing blondes. 🤣. Breakfast caused confusion and laughter. Eggs, pasta and sausages . On the first day, the sausages cut into pieces were boiled, on the second day they were fried in the oven and served as fresh. Moreover, there were stains and traces of contact with other products on the sausages. It was not correct to take them. Then, the curd casserole made an indelible impression. Inside there were pieces of hard curd product, rubber ones.Then, something like pearl barley interspersed with the same ground sausages. Butter cubes. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk in boxes and condensed milk in a bowl.I liked the buns, I used them with tea, nothing else is possible there. That's all. My son did not go there on the first day after reading the reviews. I decided to check it out. I checked it out.Yes, and the location is not very good. The sea is close, but everything is a mess. It's a long way to the center. In general, I do not recommend it. I advise you not to set foot there.

We came for the third time, it's getting better and better, the price-quality ratio is the best in Sukhum. The location is the same good, near the sea, the promenade, the market. A classic Soviet hotel, very nice for Abkhazia. The accommodation includes a buffet breakfast (we were fed the same thing for several days, we didn't really like it, but let it be) the sea is 100-150 meters away. Just got back from vacation. We chose a hotel closer to the sea and within walking distance to all famous places in the city, and we were not mistaken. The sea is a couple of minutes away, the market and supermarket are 10 minutes away on foot, there are many cafes nearby for a snack. Not far from the botanical garden, drama theater, port, and a lot of interesting things.There is a heated swimming pool in the courtyard.We arrived at the hotel by 10 am and were immediately checked in, for this a huge plus. The staff is friendly, we had breakfast included (buffet, basically satisfying and delicious, there were not enough vegetables and a meager selection of fruits (there were tangerines and apples). There is a cooler with hot and cold water on each floor.The hotel did not leave a WOW impression,
for those who love comfort, I would not recommend it. The room is very small for two, the handle on the door barely holds, the bolt was unscrewed, the bed consisted of two shifted, which was why there was a hole in the middle, it was very uncomfortable to sleep with my husband under two single blankets, towels smelled strongly of bleach, there was at least a chair on the balcony. The Internet is free, but there is practically no Internet, it was constantly turned off.I put a solid 4. Even these small inconveniences did not prevent us from resting.And thank you for your hospitality.

Terrible attitude towards groups
Financial issues are solved by a person who does not happen on weekends when groups arrive. The rooms are so ... breakfast costs 600₽ ala buffet. Prices increase during the holidays. The pool is always closed. Weddings are constantly held here on weekends, the music is humming. Parking is also paid for guests. In general, it is better to settle a group of tourists in another place for the same money.

A huge advantage of this hotel is its location: close to the beach, close to the market and you can walk to the center. The staff is polite and attentive. The thin wooden doors leading to the corridor from the room are closed with an ordinary metal key, the audibility is enormous-there is no noise insulation. All rooms have a side sea view. It is convenient that there is a transfer to Sochi. There is a swimming pool, but we have never even approached it-it is difficult to assess the depth and quality of the water. A huge disadvantage of this hotel, in my opinion, is the breakfasts-it was the first time we met with such a meager choice: frozen pancakes, casserole, eggs or omelette, porridge, boiled vegetable mixture and buns. 1 type of fruit is usually unripe and instant coffee. Condensed milk is in the bowl instead of milk. It's good that we only took breakfast. We had a rest in July 2022. I would hardly have returned to this hotel a second time, although I liked Sukhum very much. This is not the first time in Abkhazia as a whole - a beautiful, beautiful country and hospitable people.

Just returned from vacation (11.07- 18.07.23). I liked everything very much. The hotel is conveniently located near the market, Freedom Square, botanical garden and monkey house. The sea is a few steps away from the hotel. The hotel has a swimming pool. The room was for two adults + a child. The room has a hairdryer, air conditioning, refrigerator and TV. There is a cooler in the hallway. If you want a hot drink, it is better to take a boiler with you.I took breakfast and dinner. The food is delicious, there is always plenty to choose from. The only disadvantage is that it took a whole day to get from Moscow, i.e. two days out of 7 days of vacation just disappeared on the road. People are friendly, if you get lost, you can contact anyone and they will always help you. As you treat people, so do you. An interesting place. There are a lot of mosquitoes. Pay attention to this when checking in. It is ideal to live higher of course. It is not clear which side is better, the music from the cafe will be heard from all sides. If you only live on the side of the road, it is possible to be quieter. Garbage collection every 3 days.
