The place itself is beautiful. It's nice to walk away from the road. But the aunts in the museum are atas. Boorish, rude, not interested in visitors at all.

The house museum, if I may say so,
is not in the best condition. The atmosphere of Stalin's time is absolutely not transmitted. The tour is for 2 points. But what else can you expect in Abkhazia.

You can get to the cottage by a country road from the monastery...I was impressed only by the view from the mountain to the sea

The excursion to Stalin's dacha was struck by the fact that I expected to see a more well-groomed object, alas, the dacha loses its appearance every year, nothing or very little is being done to return it to its original appearance, for sure under Stalin, the facades were whitewashed, the paths were swept, the curbs were not broken, the walls were not stripped. .. sadly
