We visited this place and were very impressed with the minus sign. Helping homeless cats is good, of course, but the execution is terrible. This is not a museum at all, but an attic apartment decorated with children's drawings and a dozen statuettes, in which several cats allegedly live, picked up by volunteers from the street. At the time of our visit, there were 5-7 of them, but even these cute cats could not save the situation of our stay there. The cost of an entrance ticket is 10-12 rubles and you can stay there for 1 hour for this money, we had enough for 15 minutes. The problem is that the smell there is such that it almost hurts the eyes.I understand everything, animals, but there are less than 10 of them and they really need to be cleaned, but instead the people responsible for this walk around and place lit incense everywhere in the rooms, there's nothing to breathe, and all together it's a nightmare. Shoes stick to the floor, in general, it seems that they are not cleaned there. We couldn't stay there, and when we went outside, we realized that all our clothes and hair were soaked in this smell and we walked around the city for a long time to get it out.

Owners should study how kotokafe is made in other countries. Firstly, there should be a separate room for a cat toilet and cats should be trained to go there. Not in the common space! There's such a stink! You can feel it even when you go up the stairs there! Secondly, there must be a dressing room where visitors take off their shoes and take off their outerwear! We were told to walk right through, in winter jackets. In Moscow, this is strictly dealt with in kotofeiny, it's dirt! There are children crawling on the floor! Thirdly, cats should have a place for privacy, where they can be without people, otherwise they begin to suffer from constant squeezing. There is a small area that is fenced with a rope, but the children just crawl in there and continue to molest the cats. In general, I feel very sorry for the cats. Cats do not allow themselves to be touched, because they get tired of people all day long. The impression is very negative, we stayed there for 10 minutes.

We went to the "Cat Museum" with high hopes to see some exhibits and live seals. Yes, there are seals, they didn't sleep, they ran around, they even showed their character, but the exhibits are a couple of shelves and they are scattered in a layer of dust. The staff is friendly, there is a place to drink tea, but you won't want to do it because of the smell. 2 stars for helping the shaggy ones.
There is no desire to return.

In fact, the apartment has 10-15 cats, a small set of cheap figurines and children's paintings on the wall. Most cats hide, the rest run away to stroke, they are bored with children's attention. The apartment is unkempt, rather dirty. Ticket price #22 bel.rub...(children + adults) are very overpriced. Three stars only because the son is still happy with the very fact that this is a CAT MUSEUM))) and the director is a CAT there.

I agree with many of the comments, it's a pity that I didn't read them before coming. We've already listed all the minutes: the floors are barely washed, the corners are marked. Bleach could fix the situation.
Shoe covers are not sold, there is no dressing room to create at least the appearance of sanitation. Dim light, cramped space, the drawings are already hung from the ceiling, literally hanging on their heads. The cats have nowhere to go, they break into the staff room, almost knocking down the door, because the children have already been tortured.
Tea, sweets are already for luck, what will remain of the crowds of schoolchildren who are periodically taken there by 10-15 people.
Cats are really sluggish, they don't react to anything.
There is nothing to say about prices anymore. They paid and ran away after 10 minutes. Even in little Kaluga, they gave less, but they were almost alone in a room with an air humidifier, a bunch of board games, and a hammock. There is something to compare it with.

A wonderful place! We visited in early June. Cats are beautiful, some are even more than very supportive of people, they allow themselves to be stroked and scratched. The most important thing is that this is not just a museum, but also a place where the owners of the organization treat, protect and look for kind hands for kitties. This is not a museum, but with this name the organizers manage to draw attention to the problems of abandoned animals. In fact, this is a kotokafe, a shelter in the very center of the capital. It should be noted, a very nice place with charming fluffy creatures.
Cats are well-groomed, they have a place of personal space where you can hide from a person, although it may be worth making it even more secluded and closed. Also, wonderful felt magnets in the theme are sold in kotokafe - very inexpensive for such high quality and manual work.
There is a place to wash your hands. It's clean enough. There is a smell, but it is not critical for me. On the contrary, I would light less incense so that the animals would not be poisoned.
