It's a so-so museum, all the seals are asleep. It's a little expensive for 15p. I hope they will go to charity and the development of the museum further, since now the price should be 3 times lower.

To be honest, I'm shocked that there are so many negative comments.
First, keep in mind that you come to a museum where there are a lot of seals. What many people write about the smell - given my good sense of smell, I only heard the smell of aroma sticks mostly. The unpleasant smell was almost inaudible .
Secondly, it is stressful for cats to constantly see new visitors, especially arrogant ones, who take them immediately in their arms , which is extremely undesirable to do. This is an animal, not a toy , the administrator immediately said that some cats allow themselves to be stroked, some do not, everything is logical, all cats are different . The fact that they are sleeping, it is quite logical to assume that they are tired because of the visitors. In general, I am happy with the atmosphere, because I love kittens in general. A very pleasant administrator, it was September 9th, 2022.
The ticket is 12 rubles per adult, which is quite acceptable.
When children are allowed in, this is a mockery of animals, dear parents, instruct that cats should not be pinched and forcibly taken by the scruff of the neck!! It becomes painful to look at the poor seals . The fact that cats should run around for you to entertain and amuse you - they should not, they are living creatures.

We arrived at 16:30. All the cats were sedated (or maybe something worse) and they didn't react to anything. The employee brazenly lied to people that cats had a "quiet hour", while they did not react to anything at all. Everyone was just asleep. What is the level of hypocrisy that in order to take the cat for yourself, you need to "fill out a questionnaire" from them to understand whether a person can keep a cat. But what will cats have with their psyche and health after such doses of sedatives?
We were here before, two years ago, the cats were absolutely adequate. It's just terrible right now. They began to leave only at the end of the working day, apparently, at this time they stop stuffing drugs. And lo and behold, they began to react to stimuli, some began to scratch /bite people who got them. They started hiding from people, fighting, playing, etc.
At the same time, some were apparently so stuffed that they either lay motionless all the time, or even looked dying.
In general, if you don't feel sorry for cats, come look at this attraction-the knacker's yard. They are no different from gypsies selling animals on the street.

There are a lot of seals here. The child will be very interested. But it stinks so that after 15 minutes of arrival, my head starts to spin. The ticket costs 10 rubles for children, 12 rubles for adults. The duration of the visit is 1 hour. I couldn't last more than 30 minutes.

The word "museum" does not fit here from the word "at all". The entire exposition consists of about two dozen eternally sleeping cats (I have not seen a single awake one, the feeling that they are all "under something") and hundreds of drawings on a cat theme made by the visitors of the "museum" themselves, and a couple of showcases with cat figures. The aromas in the room are appropriate, it is difficult to withstand for more than 5 minutes, not to mention that something would be consumed in the "koto cafe" (cooler, single cups, tea bags and sweets, that's all the "cafe"). The ticket price is highly inflated, 12 Belarusian rubles.
I recommend taking a photo of the sign "KATA MUSEUM" (exactly through the "a", in Belarusian) and moving on.

We stayed at the kotokaf in Minsk. The impression is more negative than positive. At the entrance to the museum (loudly said), an unpleasant smell is felt, the desire to go further is immediately discouraged. All the cats were hibernating. The cafe is also uncomfortable. The only plus is the friendly staff.

A very nice and "cat-like" place. Friendly and helpful staff, well-groomed and well-fed cats. Tea, coffee, sweets for all visitors. Be prepared for the smell, these are still cats that mark the territory, employees ventilate and remove the smell as best they can, but it is very difficult to get rid of it.

I don't understand why there are so many bad reviews here, because the mere existence of this museum does a huge good deed, gives a roof over the head to not a small number of kitties. Moreover, it gives them a chance to find a home.
The kitties here are very contact, they climb on their knees with pleasure and settle down to sleep. There were as many as three cats on my husband, but only one fit on me.The
place is cool, you can drink tea, relax in the company of kitties, draw, admire paintings and figurines.

Firstly, the sharp, persistent smell of cat waste. Secondly, it is impossible to eat and sit properly, it is dirty, broken electricity is hanging over your head... What is said about the cafe, disposable cups, bags with two types of tea (The cheapest and most disgusting) and that's it, no sweets, cookies, etc. The staff insisted that it was a quiet hour for all cats to sleep, but I read a lot of reviews and many also wrote it, the price is very high for entrance from an adult is 12 seats. from the children's -10Bun., very expensive. And there's nothing to see there, except for the eternally sleeping cats. The food for cats there is unsanitary, as if it has been standing for the tenth year...
If these problems do not resolve, I have every right to sue you for bullying cats and they will come to check on you. There are no problems.

In general, I did not like it. The whole impression is clogged by a very unpleasant pungent smell of cat urine, which meets as soon as you open the door to the museum. In this regard, visiting the museum becomes uncomfortable and interest is lost. In the kotokaf, there is not even a thought to drink or eat something, the smell kills all appetite. There were few cats on the day of the visit, half of them were asleep. They are ironed, but there is no reaction from them, as if everyone has already got them. The ticket price is greatly overstated in my opinion in relation to the quality of the service, 12 r entrance. On the positive side, the idea of helping homeless cats and introducing visitors to it is interesting. But the implementation is still not up to a good level.

We were here today, August 10, 2022.
The ticket is 12p adult, for an hour (!)
The Museum is a big word. In fact, they are just cats and cats that can be petted. And a bunch of children's drawings-that's all the museum "exhibits".
It is better not to go to the toilet, it smells like cat urine so that it corrodes the eyes.
2 stars only for the opportunity to accommodate those very cats. Not anymore.

I was in this museum 3-4 years ago and today. The difference is huge, today there was a very strong smell, the friend with whom I came became ill, they light incense in packs, but they only worsen the situation. IT was VERY DIRTY, there was a puddle on the floor, so the administrator walked over it 1 time with a mop into which urine was absorbed - that's the whole cleaning. Cats have problems with their eyes, pus, the administrator could not clearly answer what is sick and how they are treated, he said only about one cat that they have been treating for half a year (he said they only drip, they do not even wash) and the second cat no longer has one eye, either he does not see with it, and the second one is festering. Cats do not behave adequately, they are sluggish, as if under something, when I was here 3-4 years ago, the cats were cheerful and happy, they made contact themselves, and there was no such smell, it was clean and the cats behaved like normal, ordinary cats. I also noticed that the food bowls are not washed.
And it wouldn't hurt to at least give out shoe covers to visitors, otherwise you can accidentally bring infection to cats from the street.
It's a pity for the animals, or the management has changed or they don't control the work of the employees. And helpless animals suffer as usual from this.
Please change the staff to people who care about the life and well-being of animals.
Now it looks like they're just making money on cats - and they don't care about the cats themselves

Awful. Organizers, is it really impossible to take care of the cleanliness of the room? They take children to you, have the honor.
The stench is so sharp and persistent that it is impossible to catch your breath after visiting. The incense in the corners does not hide the smell of urine.
I even wonder how the city administration allows such a state of the "museum", meaning visitors.
