The first restaurant visited in Abkhazia. I liked everything, the food was delicious, the staff was excellent, there were a lot of visitors, we were lucky and did not have to wait for empty seats, but periodically people have to wait for an empty seat. The prices are affordable. If you haven't finished something, you can ask for it and it will be wrapped with a sub.

I visited this institution twice on March 25, 2023 and March 31, 2023. The first time the impressions were good, fast service, delicious cuisine, relatively inexpensive, lazy cats lying under the table, the sea view is amazing. The second time, the impressions were negative, there was a draft on the second floor and at the same time they refused to close the door to the kitchen. And attention is the highlight of the program...while we were eating, a huge rat was watching us, and at that moment our appetite disappeared and we watched the rat as she ran into the kitchen and carried leftovers under the podium, apparently she had baby rats there. When asked by the waiters why you have a rat running around the hall...The waitress replied that she had been living here for a long time and the cats couldn't catch her. Naturally, we will not go here anymore.... disgusting!!!

Aaaaafigennoe cafe. I visit Sukhumi either in autumn or in winter. There are always enough places. Dinner for 3, without saving, for 2200- 2400 rubles. Everything is delicious there. We took shish kebab, fish salad with caviar, chicken soup, pita bread, I liked it very much, khachapuri is very tasty, the meat is always tender and soft. In general, the chefs are great. The wait was not long, both from accepting the order and from bringing it. But the lamb kebab was not very good, one of the pieces had a taste of liver, the second piece, inside the meat was as if it had been strongly boiled (as if marinade with kiwi, who knows who will understand). The pork didn't taste good at all, but one piece seemed to be marinated. Khachapuri, my respect, the dough is just perfect and baked. I didn't like the French fries. In general, the place is good, but there was no "WOW", fast service, for Abkhazia, we didn't really like the kitchen, plus finally we saw a cockroach)

There are places on the verandas of the second floor. A decent selection of national dishes: khinkali, shish kebab, khachapuri, hot frying pan, solyanka, etc. Of the cons: the cafe is very popular with tourists and locals, so you will have to wait for a place.

I do not understand what is remarkable about this place, what we took was not tasty, salad with mussels and caesar with salmon, ice cream with nuts. The mussels are soft, apparently frozen, they fall apart, the salmon is not salty, the leaves are wilted, it is impossible to crack the crackers, the nuts in the ice cream are bitter, it turns out not fresh. The wine is mediocre (the price in the store is 400 rubles), there is no order for glasses. Parts of the menu are not available. And the cherry on the cake, a big cockroach running on the wall at table level. To get a check, you need to find the waiter who brought the food and who is missing...the rest just sent a fuck. We ran around the restaurant looking for it, although we really wanted to just leave. Disappointment.

Service and staff... It's just tin. Before I arrived, I read that the service is often bad in Abkhazia, but it was a lot. The waitress almost threw the menu. We just opened it, we haven't looked at everything yet, she came to us again and said: "Well, what's there to look at, there's meat, there's soups." After choosing, without asking, she took away the menu, although we also wanted to choose something sweet... In short, a nightmare.
The dishes were brought quickly, everything was hot and fresh.
Perhaps we were just so unlucky with the waitress, which spoiled the impression.

Everything was always fine, but one day there was a live earthworm on a lettuce leaf. From that moment on, I somehow didn't want to go there anymore.
