We were in October. There are no questions regarding the location to the sea, you can see from the window, 50 meters. The kitchen is delicious, sometimes cold. Of the pros, that's all. The rest of the infrastructure leaves much to be desired... The embankment is simply in a neglected state, there is a lot of desolation... Summary: there is no host.

Good afternoon, the hotel is small, the location is near the beach, although there is no entrance to the hotel, there is a primer, the road could have been made, although the car was approaching! There is no pool, although it is stated on the website, and a photo of a pool with a slide is attached, but this is a paid water park, they just successfully assigned a photo to the hotel! Cleaning every day, but superficial, with one swipe, and garbage removal!
TV - there were Russian channels, but often there was no signal, well, okay - we didn't come to watch TV!
Food-the food was delicious, good, homemade, there was also a choice, not much, but this is Abkhazia! There was enough of everything! Rotovirus was present, as in all of Abkhazia, the sea and the views are gorgeous!! The Black Sea surprised, warm, clean and pleasant!!! I recommend the hotel, but stock up on medicines for rotovirus!!!

People don't look for Turkey in this hotel. We had a rest in October 2022. We were satisfied with the price and my husband and I chose this hotel. The territory is good, they met us at night and settled us in. For us, a huge plus is the location by the sea, we lived with a view of the sea. The receptionists and cleaners are great, I have applied more than once. I recommend that the owners repaint the walls and replace the beds. According to nutrition, if you live no more than a week, then it will do, you will not stay hungry, but two days later we went to another place for dinner.

We stayed at the hotel from June 20 to June 29, 2022. I liked the hotel. The room has everything you need: snow-white bed linen (replaced after three days), towels, beach towels, hair dryer, kettle, fumigator. The maid wiped the floor every day, took out the trash, and at my request gave me another pillow. I liked the food. For breakfast, porridge, cottage cheese, sausages, pasta, cheesecakes, omelette, tea, coffee, pastries, fruits, cheese, sausage, etc. You definitely won't be hungry. Everything is delicious, of good quality. For dinner, chicken, pork meat, meatballs, cutlets, fish. I especially liked the chicken in white sauce. Delicious salads. Watermelon for dinner every day. There is a great view of the sea from the dining room windows, but the windows need to be wiped every day, because of the stained windows, the impression of the dining room immediately spoils. The beach is right under the balcony, sun beds and umbrellas are free. All shops are three minutes away on foot. Thank you for a good rest.

There is a hair dryer. The room was cleaned. The food is delicious and simple. The breakfasts are good. Coffee and tea are simple . The staff is friendly. There is almost no territory . The beach is pebbly, special sneakers are needed. There are sun beds, but there are few of them. The downside is that everyone in the hotel has a rotovirus or intestinal infection! The sea is dirty, there are a lot of jellyfish. And the murky black sea. And unfortunately, the weather is often rainy!

In the evening, it's nice to sit on the balcony, meet the sunset, and in the distance from the right side you can see the lights of Fisht, the food was 3 times a day, monotonous, but the breakfasts are wonderful, the rooms are clean, they clean regularly, cool guy Arsen the guard, in general I liked it, the money spent is worth it.

I'll make a reservation right away - if Turkey is your yardstick, then you have nothing to do in Abkhazia. And if you, like me, love her with all the flaws, then "Welcome". We had a rest from September 29 to October 31, 2022. Polite, smiling staff. Buffet breakfasts and dinners are not bad, and you will definitely not stay hungry - there is always a choice. The dining room is on the fifth floor, unfortunately there is no elevator. The sea is literally 3 steps away. Good mattresses. Spacious rooms with a balcony (either mountain or sea views). The plumbing is working and in very good condition. Cleaning... Well, here, as everywhere in Abkhazia, they swept up, the garbage was taken out and it was good. Changing clothes is a bit of a strange schedule, then after 3 days, then after 12. The hotel is still tired - windows flow in the corridor in the rain, the walls in the rooms are stained with smeared mosquitoes (not very pleasant). But by the standards of Abkhazia, this is a solid four, I would say with a plus.

It's not nice to be in the room. The hotel is 3 stars, according to the rules, towels must be changed daily and the bed 2 times a week. So we have never changed the bed and towels!
We rested for 5 days.
I asked to change 2 towels, to which they replied "no towels, all wet", they dry them on a folding dryer. They had never heard of such things as drying machines. OK, if it's the heat and the season. We were in the middle of September. The temperature is +17 and it is raining.
The room was on the 1st floor, very unpleasant, the walls were dirty with some smeared snot (sorry), the mattresses were all old, as was the furniture. We paid 6500/day for this.
Now the pros! The floors above are overlooking the sea, there is a very beautiful view. Breakfast and dinner are included. The food is normal. The first line, a chaise longue is provided, the beach is good.

Excellent hotel, the sea is just a stone's throw away, Wi-Fi catches right by the sea. The room has everything you need, an iron on the floor. Cleaning is done every day, but when we arrived it was not very clean, and mosquitoes were flying in the room. Separately, I would like to say about the dining room, which is located on the 5th floor - everything is very tasty and homely.
The infrastructure is excellent, everything is nearby, lots of cafes , canteens, a Ferris wheel.

Let's start with the pros. This hotel is right on the first line of the sea. You open the balcony and here it is, the sea and the mountains, even in the morning, even at night, look, listen, enjoy. Friendly staff and administrators, you can always order a taxi and a tour.
Minuses:well, first of all, it is problematic to drive up to the hotel, the road is broken. Naturally, in the whole of Abkhazia, payment is either by transfer or in cash. Once upon a time it may have been cheap, now multiply everything by 2 from last year.
The rooms have a bad hood in the toilets, draw conclusions. They also turn off the lights from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., and from 17.00-18.00 Moscow time, they do not warn about this. Unfortunately, there were no tufts in our room, they probably forgot to put them in. There are a lot of dogs.
Otherwise, everything is great, the people are great, and nature is simply beyond words. It is necessary to visit this wonderful country at least once in your life!

The hotel is generally not bad.But there are many disadvantages: 1. Terrible Wi-Fi (catches only in the bathroom and on the balcony and then intermittently). 2. The TV has a constant connection with the channels. 3. There is no kettle, safe, bottled water in the room, as well as the hotel staff does not update soap accessories in the bathroom. 4. I didn't like anything, starting with check-in, we arrived with the child in the morning, check-in from 14:00, left our suitcases, went for a walk, Came to the hotel at 14:00 with the hope of checking in, but alas, the room hadn't been cleaned yet, we waited another forty minutes. As a result, the room was cleaned in front of us. The food is disgusting, the flies are sitting right on the meat. The cleaning is very poor, the towels do not dry in the bathroom, the linen has never been changed during the stay, the toilet roof is broken, it has not been repaired, the application was left twice, the TV does not work. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had a rest in May, a good Hotel, and for this price it's just very cool that the first line, the beach is 50 meters away, sun beds and towels are free. The room was booked with a sea view, as a result, the view is simply amazing, lying on the bed admiring the sunset!the furniture in the room is new, the bed linen is good. Extra place is a cot, easy to assemble and durable enough for the child to sleep comfortably. The bathroom is a three-piece, but you can wash normally, just update the repair there and put at least a minimum shelf near the shower. The breakfasts are good and varied. Within walking distance of bus stops, a bakery, a central market, a playground, and the embankment itself. In general, we liked the Hotel!!!

The hotel does not reach 3 rooms . We stopped by from June 29 to July 4, 22. Fungus in the bathroom, a huge stain on the wall is not clear what (1 photo), also a stain near the refrigerator (2 photos).The Wi-Fi in the room is disgusting, you need to go out on the balcony to work because the room generally does not load.We approached the reception and they answered "It happens." The lighting in the room is very dim, 2 combined light bulbs above the bed, and one in front of the entrance.The choice in the dining room is lame.There is very little choice, if you don't eat today, you will be fed tomorrow.That's why you don't have to put 2 places - a free sun lounger and an umbrella on the beach.If you take a room with a sea view, then be prepared that the "Wave" will scream until 12 o'clock.I advise you to look for another hotel for this price.

We were at the Orchid Hotel at the end of April 2022.
The money was wasted. For this price, you can find a hotel with the best service and conditions.
From the very beginning, everything was bad:
1. They did not warn that payment is only in cash, although absolutely everywhere in Abkhazia you can pay by card or transfer
2. The room was booked with a double bed. Upon check-in, they were given two separate ones. It's good that it's not the season and there was a free room - it was replaced.
3. !!!! The disgusting smell of sewage in the bathroom!!!! During the night, with the ventilation turned off, the smell stagnates, and it is not possible to breathe in the entire room!
4. Cleaning is one name. They came every day, but apart from fixing the sheets on the bed, they did nothing.
In 4 days, towels were not changed even once.
They didn't change the linen.
They didn't change the ashtray on the balcony.
The floor seemed to be wiped, but there were hairs from previous guests on the floor.
5. There is no shampoo or shower gel in the rooms.
The only plus is that beach chairs and towels were provided on request. But they dragged the deck chairs themselves.
In general, the whole impression of Abkhazia was spoiled by the hotel!
I don't recommend it.

We liked everything. Amazing stay, friendly staff. The dining room is without frills, but delicious. The view from the dining room deserves a separate review. I recommend. In June of the 21st year, the room cost 4,200 with meals for 2 adults and a 3-year-old child.

Great location, almost on the beach.But....the area around is depressing.Complete abandonment, lack of an access road (what is there is not a road).The cafe has a meager assortment.They don't know how to cook porridge at all.The dishes are all battered.In a room for 4000, there are bloody smudges on the walls from the "killing of Mosquitoes" by the previous owners (can you at least wash it in places before a new arrival?), The shower curtain is terrible, half covered with mold (it's not expensive, is it really difficult to change it periodically?).It's time to change the furniture, it's peeling off in layers.Pastel linen does not correspond to the size of blankets... Rospotrebnadzor will have a place to turn around.But the view from the room and the dining room is amazing!!)))

Vacation in Abkhazia is not my thing. I tried it and didn't like it.
Mountain view is a view of the oppressive Soviet dilapidated houses and sewers.
Music and karaoke from the cafes "Volna" and "Zhemchuzhina" screams all evening and until one o'clock in the morning. Federico Fellini, the sun of Monaco and Hands up are just spinning in a circle. Who goes to bed early - forget it.
On the beach from the hotel, it is impossible to listen to the sound of the sea and relax calmly - they turn on full music day and evening. There is such a kiosk with a strange type, they sell beer like.
Stray dogs on the beach and on the hotel grounds just run in packs. 8-10 pieces each. I love dogs, but sometimes it seemed that there were more of them than people.
The mirror on the closet is broken, the rooms are old, the bathroom smells like sewage.
There are bloody footprints on the walls from Mosquitoes and other insects - long-standing, no one cleans them.
Wi-Fi works every other time, stable Internet is not about the ‘Orchid'.
Cleaning : just wipe the floors and THAT's IT! Linen and towels with stains are not accepted, they say, "wash yourself." Is this normal?
For 9 nights, 1 (!) towels were changed once, including beach and bed linen.
P.S. 1 car wash - 300 rubles.
The worst nightmare is rotavirus on the 2nd day. Considering that I haven't been to the sea yet!! I ONLY ate at the hotel in the dining room. Bottled water only.
There was a storm, rains with thunderstorms, that is, I did not go to the sea. It remains to be guessed where she picked it up.
Soap hands often + antiseptic . But it didn't help....
I vomited noticeably, the temperature was 38.3 the highest. They offered a taxi to the only hospital in Gagra - I refused. I was treated myself, but it was frankly lousy. Stupidly 3 days in bed.
After me, my mom got infected, too- it's the same thing.
I've been to many countries, but I've never been in bed for 4 days on vacation.
Rotavirus is everywhere, as they say. Like, "set aside 3-4 days for this." Great vacation, huh?
In the dining room, all the food is just on trays, there is no plastic screen to protect against coughing and sneezing. I saw how the children touched everything with their hands, no one made comments to them.
If you are a beautiful young girl/woman, get ready for the local masculine flavor.
The guy who carries suitcases from the hotel shouted all sorts of things at me, for which there was a complaint from the administration. They apologized.
To go somewhere alone is more expensive for yourself. I won't describe it in detail.
You don't know where to eat within walking distance, all establishments are questionable, with a rating of 4.3 and below. You read the reviews and the hair on your head moves.
Two stars only for the lovely receptionist girls and for the fact that the hotel is really 50 meters from the beach.
My first and last time here.
In general, I do not recommend Abkhazia to anyone and beach holidays in Russia in principle.

It 's a terrible place . If you want to spoil your vacation, you are welcome. The room smells of sewage so that it is not possible to be there. The beach is a separate story , the feeling of a dumpster . There is a very dubious-looking cafe nearby, the parties are correspondingly very noisy. We booked accommodation for three days, but after staying there for half an hour, we refused. Of course, the money was not returned . We were by car, it was no problem to find a decent place to relax.
