The most delicious dolma I've ever eaten is a perfectly balanced filling, and what's very cool is that it's not dry inside.
Soups are very satisfying, and therefore definitely not suitable for those who prefer dietary food, they are very fatty, and in a light frost, and even after a long walk around Baku, they just fly into you with a bang))
Tea is like tea, but it can be served with dried fruits as in many places, for this it is a minus.
And of course, thanks to the location, history and good ratings with reviews, there is simply a monstrous passability here - in the evening, even on weekdays, it is simply unrealistic to come and eat, even out of season. Lunch is a little simpler, but be prepared to wait 5-10 minutes.

Oh, damn, there are no words here! Everything is unrealistically cool, beautiful, delicious, atmospheric! Beautiful serving of dishes, attention of the staff, delicious wine. The highest praise for this institution! I only ate there the whole vacation. The staff speaks almost all Russian. This restaurant has hit the heart of it!

A great place in the Old Town. Very tasty at sooooo reasonable prices. Duchebara is fantastic, with a dense taste. Gentle and gorgeous babaganush. Fast serving of dishes. The staff is very friendly and pleasant. Atmospheric conditions.

A wonderful place! Very tasty food, good service. That is why there is always a queue at this restaurant))) In the evening it was not possible to get in, because there was a queue at the entrance, we decided to go in the morning, when everyone is still resting... We came, and there are already a lot of people there 🤭
But we still managed to eat there)))
I highly recommend it! Nowhere in Baku has the food been so delicious during the whole week that we stayed in this beautiful city!

Excellent choice of dishes and quality of cuisine. Fast and friendly service. Despite the location in the Old Town, the prices are adequate, lower than those of the neighbors, and the portions are larger. An interesting interior if you go to the second hall. I recommend it!

I recommend. The service is fast enough, but not for all dishes and depending on the fullness, for example, pilaf was cooked for us for 35 minutes. But it was worth waiting for, a very original pitch. Portions are enough to eat. The menu is extensive (there is also in Russian, photos of all dishes are attached), there is plenty to choose from. The prices are quite reasonable. They write that there are queues, but we have never waited.

There is just an incredible atmosphere in this place - it is from this feeling that your acquaintance with the institution begins. At the entrance, you already feel that you are a welcome guest and sincere care for you!

One of the best restaurants we've visited. The price is excellent, taking into account the location. The staff is all Russian-speaking, you can ask in detail about the dishes. If fully loaded, the delivery of dishes is fast, all dishes are available without "stop lists". Even in the "off season" there are always a lot of guests here)
We lived nearby and ate several times, every time we came here as a holiday)

There was a queue outside to enter the institution, they waited about 15 minutes. We ordered lula, shish kebab, kutabs. Everything is delicious (but in other places in Baku where we were after this place it was also delicious), prices are like everywhere else in the old city : wine 7 manat, chicken kebab 8 manat, kutab 2 manat (additionally included in the bill 10% for service)
What I really liked was the service and cordiality, while waiting in line, they asked if they could order something at the bar to keep warm - they made tea with lemon for free. The receptionist is very nice, the staff speaks Russian.

This is a fantastic place - it's amazing that you can stumble upon a gorgeous place like that.
Its coolness is indicated by the queue at the entrance in the morning, afternoon and evening (but not for long 15-20 minutes).
Everything that was just ordered is very tasty.
And also the interior - there is a library in the inner hall, I read Bunin there while I was waiting for the order))
In general, this institution can be safely recommended - there will be no shame in it!!

We were in Baku for three days, this is the most delicious cafe that we managed to visit. There is a queue at the entrance, be sure to sign up, they invite you according to the list.
The meat is perfect! Melts in your mouth. We took different meat dishes, all for five. An incredible salad with tomatoes and pomegranate sauce. I have never tasted such delicious tomatoes. They serve quickly, they know Russian. Lunch for two (tea, ayran, appetizer, salad, two hot ones, bread) cost about 50 manats.
I boldly recommend it.

A wonderful restaurant of Azerbaijani cuisine in the old town with an authentic setting: old photographs, carpets, music. A variety of dishes, the food corresponds to the illustrations on the menu. We came here all the time.

Yes, we checked, the restaurant is good, there is a queue at the entrance for a reason :) a very good selection of dishes, large portions, pleasant service. Because of the full landing, we didn't get a very good place, but it's not that scary. For the price - as everywhere in Baku in good establishments - it is not cheap. But it's worth it.

Prices are very reasonable for the Baku- Icheri-Sheher center. Fast service. Very tasty. Beautiful homely, very cozy interior. There may be a queue for boarding, but the wait for us personally was exactly 5 minutes. Baku residents also come here themselves. I highly recommend it!

It would be all right if they warned about the presence of incredible hot chili peppers on vegetables. It looked like a string bean and my friend felt very bad when she swallowed a piece. I managed to spit it out, but it burned my whole throat. I can't even appreciate the rest of the food, because I didn't feel the taste.
Well, it was possible to merge it into a large stream of people and the waiter forgot to warn, but when after dinner we came up and said that we should have warned about it - the waiters smiled slyly, it looked like banter. An unpleasant aftertaste, spoiled the mood and digestion! I do not recommend it!

And indeed, I would also note it among other restaurants located in the immediate vicinity (at the entrance to the old town). The name of the restaurant translates as mother-in-law ;) It's very cozy. They serve you carefully and quickly. The food is very tasty, we ordered, among other things, homemade stew in a frying pan, I recommend it. For three people with drinks (wine, tequila), the dinner cost only about 120 manats. We had dinner, and happily continued our walk around the old town.

There are restaurants in Baku with much tastier food!
We have been waiting for our very tough meat for a very long time, the tortillas, like in many other restaurants in the city, are delicious.
Good service, nice prices. Tips are included in the bill, which is rather upsetting.
